I was just gonna post this! Have it marked on my calendar.

Now if we can just get Lost to come back sooner ...

Heroes is back tonight guys, two hour premiere...and let me just say, the first episode is friggin' awesome. The best hour since the first season saying the least.

Not sure about the second yet, but I'm assuming it's going to be just as good.

Anywhere I can see this online? Stupid freaking Cox cable is screwing me over once again with their terrible product. I am so super pissed off right now.

I think NBC.com will have them.

What did everyone thing of the episodes? I liked them, although I have no clue what the frak is up with Tracy/Nicki...

I am fairly certain that is Nicki's sister. We already knew that Jessica was her twin who had vanished.

I really enjoyed the start of the third season. Lots of twists and turns.

I am sure everyone has a character that they don't like. Mine is Claire by far. The whiney teenager thing got old last season and she is right back to it.

I really enjoyed it. We learned a lot and met a few new characters that are fun, but if this time travel things keeps going where everytime they fix something, something else bad happen, I will scream. Why doesn;t someone just go back and kill everyone as babies and be done with it. Just kidding, I actually like it. It is fun to see all the alternate worlds, but I do have one question. Where is the Irish girl? She got hosed inthe furture.

I am beginning to think this show has jumped the shark.
The only thing interesting to me last night was the dude Parkman met up with.
Of course the only reason I watched the first season was because Hiro was funny/ entertaining. A comic book geek that gets super powers.

I don't know how much longer I can watch.

I can't stand Maya.

The only character that they introduced last year that I liked was Micah's cousin (can't remember her name) and I am not even sure if she will be back this season as I haven't read/heard anything about her.

A lot of twists for the first night, starting off better than last season though.

Good episodes - not the magic of the first season - not sure they can ever replicate that, now that the show is established. Although, Lost managed to do it in Season 4 after wandering around for a bit, so who knows.

They do seem to be repeating themselves somewhat story-wise, though. I really hope they add some plot depth or additional 'pizzaz' to this season. So far it feels a bit formulaic - great actors and characters and sets, but done before.

I think the main thing is the 'are they good or bad or did they just switch from good to bad and back' approach. That is a great element to the DNA of the show, but they should not overuse it. Let the characters build as good or bad and then only occasionally flip them, like HRG guy in the first season.

We'll see - I'll keep watching...

Although, how about Mama Petrelli with 'Gabriel'? Creepy!

Personally, I think this show has got back a bit of the magic of the first season...it felt like Lost-lite again. Making you rethink everything you thought you knew, and with other elements like the shapechangers making you rethink what you think you might know now (like, is future claire really future claire, etc).

I think this show is at its best when it plays hard on the interconnectiveness of the characters and the "what you think may not be" element as well (ie, Ando killing Hiro in the future). Plus, they've introduced some good new characters...and Marlow from the Wire is there too!!

I think she really is his mom. And wow...she's a hard freaking character to read.

I found myself thinking most of the episode "oh yeah, that happened last year" because it felt like last year was so rushed and shortened that I think they wanted to do a lot of this setup back then, so it's hard to really get into it. They seem like they are packing a lot of what they wanted to bring up before the writers strike and had to postpone, all in these first two episodes.

I think it's already a lot better than last year's really flat season.

And Suresh is kind of insane to just inject himself. Glad he did, plot wise, since he's more interesting now...but jeez dude, you are insane.

And I can't be the only person who thought that the safe Hiro got into was the most ridiculously un-protected safe in history. I mean...let's shuffle around, find a neat device that opens up a wall and push a button and the safe is open. WOW. Way to protect that most valuable secret of humanity. Freaking Derek Zoolander and Hansel would have opened that safe faster than they discovered that the files were in the computer.

I feel ya...you have to give Kring a mulligan and forget about Season 2, and let this Season stand on it's own IMHO.

It is getting kind of 24-like in the repetition though:

The world is destined to end because of Peter (again!), dead characters are now back, and Maya has gone from a vessel in which Sylar is able to get back to Shuresh to eye-candy.

And what happened to her accent? And is it just me, or is it hard to root for an illegal alien?

Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was average at best. Season 3 has completely jumped the shark. Absolutely too much going on, lame story lines, idiotic choices by Hiro / Peter, Mohinder figuring out the "formula" in a lame way, Mohinder "injecting" himself with super powers, Sylar's mommy issues. Aghhh.....

I will keep watching because I love the premise of this show, but I'm starting to have my doubts about where everything is going.

Even though it was a little easy it should be noted - he didn't press a button, he put his thumb on a thumbprint reader.

Thanks, I did not catch that.

However...

How is that Speedy-Girl was Johnny-on-the-spot? I realize that she moves faster than the speed of sound, but was she just sitting there in the office waiting for Hiro to foul up?
