I agree. Syler and HRG pairing up was my favorite part of the episode.

Syler's always been one of my favorites, not sure why people bag on him so much.

I was extremely dissapointed they brought Nikki back, but hopefully the recent developments with Traci will bring about a different character that is more tolerable.

Less Claire please.

Speed up Parkman's storyline.

Get rid of "Speed Girl" ASAP!

Who cares about Surresh and Mya? I thought Mya died last season anyway, so I was really dissapointed when she showed up again.

At this point, I'd be happy to watch the series if they only had HRG, Adam, Hiro (only if they can get him back on track with Adam), Parkman, Momma Petrelli, Nathan, Peter, and Sylar.

I agree with every point, especially about getting rid of the superfast girl. She's awful. I think they are introducing in getting rid of characters far too quickly. Developed some story for God's sake. We don't need 10-15 storylines. Tighten it up. I think the Hiro part has gotten too cute and dumb. I realized that supposed to be some comedy relief, but it's just silly I think.

Having said all that, last week's episode will keep me watching at least for a while. After the first episode I was about ready to make this show my casualty for the season. I really like where they're going with Sylar. I think he goes back willingly because he is craving that relationship with his real mother and wants to learn more about himself.

Last night episode was an improvement for me. The start of the season has been a bit of a dissapointment for me.

I don't mind the pairing up of Sylar and HR as long as they handle it right (which I don't think they have up to this point). Don't care how many mommy issues Sylar might have. That couldn't keep him in check. Since the Haitian can't be around all the time, they should have written in some other solution that is at least plausible.

Like that Hiro and Ando are on another mission. They are always fun to watch. I sort of like the speed girl nemesis angle. However, I too have a hard time taking her character seriously. Which is why they should keep her storyline close to Hiro and Ando.

Want more Petrelli story lines. No doubt these are the central figures in Heroes. Love the turmoil. Love mama Petrelli's evil ways. I also like how Claire is evolving from her cheerleader persona. What I want to know is what happened to her to turn her away from Peter?

Want less Parkman or give him something to do. Sorry, but his storyline has been an absolute bore. I thought his character had so much potential when he was a cop and the thing with his wife. It just seems like they abandoned that way too soon. Good character with nothing to do. I hope this storyline they have him on gets moving.

Love the story line that all 3 triplets had different powers. Traci's power is way cooler then the entire Nikki's split personality/super strength story. I think a much needed change to the character in a sort of round about way.

The good old Doc's storyline is getting interesting because of what he is turning into. However, Maya has got to go. Her character was never that interesting to begin with. Should leave some screen time for someone else.

I also like the obvious blur the writers are creating between who is really a villain and who is a hero. I like where they are headed with this. I would like them to go back to more character focused episodes where they concentrated on a few at a time to drive the story forward. It seems like they are trying to get every actor in every episode.

Lots of big twists tonight. No idea what is going to happen with Ando.

Good episode

Hiro probably froze time and did something to make it look like he killed him.

I really like Suresh's character now. He suddenly became really interesting, rather quickly.

It was a rather weird that the "Nightmare Man" chose to use Linderman as the image to put in people's heads to get them to do Patrelli's bidding. They had me going for a little while in thinking that he was somehow alive (which would be really difficult with the missing brain and all).

Speaking of which can't wait until next week when we get some info on his (Papa Patrelli's) character

The portable black hole guy was really cool. Fantastic power and very dramatic. The puppet master guy was super creepy. I am glad they are focusing on crazy villians this year.

This show is AWFUL. It is easily the most frustrating of all network television shows this year. One more episode and that's it.

Wow really? I can tell they have different writers this year. Guess it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I have to agree.

I don't know how much longer I can take this show.

It is a soap opera that makes less and less sense all the time.

Peter had to go to the future to get Sylar's power when he is supposed to absorb powers just by being around them? Then he gets it by messing with a watch.

The "puppet master"? Really?
It annoys me also that Noah Bennett is called HRG in the trailers when we found out what his name is 2 seasons ago.

Count me in as one who thinks this series is finished. I just finished watching season 2 and I know there were a lot of complaints but compared to season 3, season 2 is the greatest set of television programming ever. They have ruined this season by over thinking the show. Just keep it simple. Let Claire be a cheerleader. Let Hiro be goofy. Instead there are a million plots, I don't even know when the show is present or in teh future, or past anymore. It sucks. Maybe they should have just released season one as a full length feature film and been done with it.

Wow surprised at some of the reactions, to each his own I am not minding some different characters. Will be interesting to see whats up with the Patrelli parents both of them.

There are a bunch of prime time shows much worse then this show. So, this show is not bad by any stretch. It's just missing some direction this season which I don't get. Either that or they are about to spin this in a way I didn't see coming.

Love the villain/hero blurring but the writing seems schizophrenic this season.

I have loved this season so far. They really got Hiro back on track last night. Adam's death was suprising.

I'm not quite sure Adam is dead though. The future visions where Claire is getting her head cut off and all the villains stand together, Adam is one of the villains.

Also, Peter has to get his powers back at some point. For some reason, I'm thinking that Mr. Petrelli's steals power only temporality and then it gets transferred back. I'm not sure how they'll bring Adam back from a pile of dust, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them do it with the way this season has gone so far.

I don’t like the thought of Adam being dead, he was one of the better characters. I did enjoy the concept of his death though. Once his power was stolen, he instantly aged to how old he really is, thus turning to dust. Very Indian Jones Last Crusade-ish.

Oooh. I like that theory.

I still like the show a lot. I love the changes that Sylar, Peter and Mohinder have been going through.

So what? What does that have to do with how bad Heroes is? I don't watch those shows either.

Better shows were cancelled for much less.

Last night was a nice comeback.

That scene with Claire, her mom and step-mom was soooo painfully slow and predictable. Hey Kring, I am NOT feeling suspense there, man...shorten it up some! Other than that, it's a good 'idea' show that's only watchable because it's different. It's still poorly done.

Because it's not a bad show by any stretch. I also consider some of the other shows on TV craptastic but yet they stay on (insert almost every reality show here). So you might not watch some of that other crap but someone is. Besides, it's not like they have not had good written moments or decent episodes. It just has not been consistent.

Reminds me of another on of my favorite shows.....Lost. The season before last was one of the worst seasons of any of my favorite shows period. The writing was uneven and lacked direction. Sound familiar?

Also, one of my current favorites (Supernatural) is lacking so far this season. The writing is bland and the stories have been bland. The comradery between brothers is non existent, there seems to be no urgency or overall arc like in past season and even the action is blah.

I don't typically abandon shows just because of one season of blah. Though I think 2 of my favorites in Heroes and Supernatural are headed down that path unless things turn around. Monday nights episode was a start.

It's impossible to discuss things to you because you treat your opinion as fact. Why is there a problem with someone disagreeing with you?

Heroes had an awful 2nd season, an ok 1st season and a bad 3rd season. It's not just "one season of blah" that is its problem. If a show is consistently bad, it's bad. Period.

As for Supernatural, congratulations. You are the only person I've heard that doesn't like it this year. This season has been brilliant, the best in its 4 year history. IMO.

Huh?!?!?!? Where did I say that you couldn't have an opinion? When did this become an expose on fact? This is not a science and I have no issues with you having a different opinion. I was just trying to explain why I didn't agree. I don't think I have a problem with someone disagreeing with me as much as you do evidently.

Chill out....that's what a thread is for.

Heroes had an awful 2nd season, an ok 1st season and a bad 3rd season. It's not just "one season of blah" that is its problem. If a show is consistently bad, it's bad. Period.

If I wanted to I could read this as your stating "fact". Your "Period" sort of hammers that home. However, one of us isn't taking the others difference of opinion that way.

As for Supernatural, congratulations. You are the only person I've heard that doesn't like it this year. This season has been brilliant, the best in its 4 year history. IMO.

I know lots of people that like the show and have been disappointed. Talk to several people that felt this season is lacking and off to a slow start. Completely disagree about it being the best season but the season isn't over yet. It's not that I don't like it but to me it's just lacking some of that trademark humor and this year so far is nowhere as good or as fun as the Winchesters going after the Yellow eyed demon. IMO. I might change my mind as the rest of the season unfolds.

It's cool if you don't like the show, but do you really need to come here and **** in our corn flakes? Would be nice to come read threads about people discussing the show rather than just saying how much it sucks.
