The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed free agent WR David Boston (Dolphins) to an undisclosed contract.

Gruden apparently can't get over what Boston did to his Raiders in 01. Which was impressive as hell. A hell of a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, most of which seems to involve Boston not being able to stay healthy for a month at a time but also acting like a creep when he was in SanDiego, where they had paid him a ton of cash to be a complete wipe out and act like a wierdo, show more interest in talking on his cell phone than anything going on on the field. etc. In my book Boston is damaged goods with character issues. The worst of both worlds.

I foresee no return to the salad days for David Boston. Gruden can find out for himself.

That game still has to be one of my favorites. That touchdown catch boston had when he torched Woodson on his way to the endzone was just awesome.

Its really too bad about Boston, guy had the toolset to be a monster wide out and just couldn't keep his head together.

Boston is kind of like the Rocky movies...started off great but each time he comes back it gets worse.

I wonder what happened to that guy. He wasn't like that in college and came from a well-to-do family. The 'roids must've really messed with his head. To me it shows that you can do all the investigating and interviewing you want prior to the draft but it's almost impossible to know how a kid is going to respond when he becomes an instant multi-millionaire.
