Steve would have to deliver 63+ wins (franchise record), average 14+ assists and 19+ points the rest of the season, beat Dallas tomorrow while Dirk fails to perform well, take over games while on national television, AND Dallas would have to fail to win 67+ games...

In other words, slim to none... HOWEVER, I do believe that is the criteria needed. If it does happen, STEVE SHOULD deserve the MVP over DIRK.

I agree. If nash out performs dirk in this last stretch...he should be strongly considered for his 3rd straight.

I don't know if I have ever heard the coach say it directly although I think Nash has been saying it for a long time.

i apologize again chaplin. yeah jacobs said dirk is the most overrated player in the nba and that there is no way dallas will beat the suns in the WCF. I'm assuming he thinks there is no way the spurs can beat the suns either. I'm wondering what he is basing that logic on?
