Nope. There is a reason guys like Dansby force so many fumbles over the years. its not from being soft While Rolle will take some bad angles and miss some tackels at times I have seen him lay the wood. Guy can and does bring it at times.

How at all do you figure Campbell for finesse? Notice you didn't comment on Hayes?

Or how bout I'm right and your wrong? ;)

How about lets compare the Cardinals to teams like the Ravens, the '85 Bears or the '03 Bucs. Finesse v Physical

So I'm right and you're wrong. :p

BTW: Hayes isn't that big a run stuffer. Not compared to a lot of other ILBs in the NFL. You can force a lot of fumbles without being a physical player simply by slapping at the ball as you drag a guy down. And yeah Campbell's bull rush is the talk of the NFL.

Yeah, the 03 Bucs. Sapp was way more physical than Dockett. Simeon Rice was a bull rush master. Barber. Oooh scary. Dexter Jackson...watchout!!!

And those Ravens Bears teams arguably the toughest bestest ever. The Cards aren't to that level, duh.

You're such a homer. :)

Those were some of the best teams ever. The guys that played on those teams wear Super Bowl Championship Rings as proof.

The Cards defense has been at the same level with those teams once in 40 years. 1994. Its the only time I've seen the Cards simply pound other teams consistently.

On the other hand those franchises have never had an offense on the same level as the Cardinals.

To say that those teams finessed their way to the championship with Jim McMahon, Brad Johnson, or Trent Dilfer is just nuts.

Just like its nuts to think the Cards could win playing smash mouth football.

The Cards don't win pounding people. They win with great schemes so that by the time the other team has figured out what they're doing Breaston or Fitz is running 15 yards downfield with the ball or Wilson is forcing their QB into a bad throw or Wells has shot through a gap for 7 yards.

Heck our offensive line can't even push the defense off the line of scrimmage to pick up 1 yard in short yardage situations the majority of the time.

How can I be a homer? I don't live in Arizona.

And the Tampa 2 defense is all about finesse. (I think)

Well today's game answered the question for us.

Definitely a finesse team.

90 points in two playoff games. 80 in a game and a half. No physical football team allows that. In fact no football team has ever done that. :bang:

Duck, we were a team of many records this year...

allowed a 99 1/2 yard TD drive with no time left. Never will be broken.

97 points scored by 2 teams in a playoff game

+ the many other personal records I fail to remember at this point.

Leave it to the Big Red to never surprise you!!!

Also breaking the Super Bowl loser jinx not only by making the playoffs but making it past the first round. Meanwhile the SB winner sat home.
