Could it be the illness bug? Maybe his thumb? That's the only thing I remember that was wrong with him or the team. Weird...

if anyone has any info please post it here, It's fantasy playoffs week and if Hightower isn't playing I would much rather start Beanie over Quinton Ganther from the skins. (very deep league)

if it makes you feel any better hes had a questionable tag on my fantasy sports team all week, so its not something that just popped up.

Hightower (thumb) fully participated in Saturday's practice, the Cards' official site reports.

Spin: He should be able to play on Monday night against San Francisco if you need him. Hightower has averaged 9.4 fantasy points per game over the last four weeks, so you can probably do better even in a flex spot for most leagues, especially when you consider that 110 of his 252 rushing yards during that span came against the Rams in Week 11.

Im trying to decide between Hightower and Austin.

Im leaning with Hightower. Playoffs. Tower is gonna get his touches.

I'm actually a bit concerned about his thumb. it's been raining all week in the bay area and they're now saying periods of rain on Monday. I have no idea but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the 49ers want the field to be wet and aren't doing a very good job of protecting it. Take 2 RB's who are prone to fumble and give one of them a thumb injury with a wet ball could be a concern?

FWIW, last week I read that the Cardinals prefer the "questionable" tag to "probable" (probably on Yahoo or CBS Sportsline).

It was yahoo that said that.

Unfortunately for me, Hightower has moved up the depth chart from sharing the flex R/W with percy harvin to my #1 back, after I lost Ronnie Brown & Michael Turner to injury. As the injury situation has gone, as have my fantasy championship aspirations.

I've been starting Hightower most of the year because my league has a point per reception, so he's actually been pretty valuable. I have Beanie as well, so I guess I'll wait until tomorrow to make a final decision.

I have a big lead in the 1st round of our playoffs, but my opponent still
has Warner and Fitzgerald. Oh well--I won't let it rob an ounce of joy and hope they light it up anyway.

Actually 3 RB's that are prone to fumble. Gore is no slouch in this department either. It may backfire on them.
