The Diamondbacks have locked up their first round pick just two weeks after the June 6th amateur draft and now Braden Shipley prepares for his first assignment joining the Single-A Short Season Affiliate, the Hillsboro Hops in Oregon.

Trahan will begin his 2013 campaign on June 14 when the D-backs' Class A short-season affiliate Hillsboro Hops open up their season.

I hope Stryker catches for Shipley, either way, I want to catch Shipley's first start.
