Holiday Bowl thread

Right now the Pac-10 is not off to a good start in the bowl games. I always pull for the Pac-10 except for ASU and we don't have to worry about that once again this bowl season.

The Cats will be playing with white helmets for the game. I always preferred the white over the blue but the blue grew on me. More importantly, there are some highly rated recruits who have the UofA on their list and a nice showing can't hurt their chances of getting a few of those recruits.

I like the white helmets. I first matriculated at the U in '85, so the blue never seemed right to me.

I guess the Cats are going to wear all white with red NFL-style socks for the game, if anybody cares about such things.

That said, there is still a TON of time left in this game, but the PAC-10 in general has indeed faired pretty poor thus far... UofA is not helping arguments tonight..

and BTW, I like the white helmets, but you need that blue stripe down the middle, without it they just don't look right...

So, I graduated from UofA and my wife is from Nebraska....and we're out visiting her family. This is embarrassing.

Thankfully the in-laws are good sports.

Honestly, the whole coaching staff could leave tomorrow and I wouldn't care. I don't know who would take them though.

I'm the rare breed that wants both Arizona teams to succeed. I grew up in Phoenix and went to college in Tucson, so I just like seeing our state do well. I take no joy in ASU's season (and even less in this Horrorday Bowl)
