To Bertrand Berry: You are a class act and I appreciate your presence on this team. The Big Red Rage is always enjoyable

To Adrian Wilson: Damn! You have been the heart and soul of the defense for years, you deserve this, thank you for staying with this team

To Edgerrin James: Things worked out and I hope you find yourself in the Hall of Fame with a Super Bowl ring from the Arizona Cardinals. You took a chance signing here and I hope it pays off

To Reggie Wells: Your name is never called, you just do your job. I'm glad you didn't go to Buffalo

Bertrand Berry: You are class act A #1! I don't think there is a better guy on the planet. Thank you for your humbleness and dedication.

Gerald Hayes: My Jersey boy! Thanks for throwing it down on the field. It has not gone unnoticed.

Neil Rackers: I never doubted you. EVER.

Edge: Wish the coaching staff put you in a few weeks earlier. I never doubter you, either. You are a blessing to this team!

All my Cardinals players and coaches ... THANK YOU!!!!!!!

A-DUB!!!!! Way to lead the charge.

And to Edge.... the guy just amazes me. Say what you want, but the guy isn't paid to talk to the press. He is paid to run the rock. When it is game time......it is game time.

And to our offensive line. I suggest to anyone that has the means to do so. Watch the game winning drive, and watch our OL. That was an unbelievable showing of imposing ones will on another team.

Terrell Smith - probably the best game I have ever seen played by a FB in my life.

Berry: I have worn you on my back every game for 4 years now. You do a lot to keep this community proud of the Big Red. I respect your play and your attitude.

Fitz: I'm sorry your feet are not as quick as you'd like (see the game program), but your hands are a gift. Thank you for sharing that gift with all of us.

Leinart: Thank you for having the attitude that lets you support our team. Thank you for having the confidence to know you'll do great when your turn comes.

Warner: Thank you for having another turn, this year.

T Smith: Thank you for firing up the players on the sidelines and getting these guys ready to rock.

Wilson & Wells: You guys deserve this moment. Thank you for giving 100% every week for as long as you've been here, even when it wasn't as nice a moment as now.

I don't have a favorite but Lutui this has to be your day. You grew up a Cardinals fan in AZ you have been playing very well lately and you were instrumental in getting the Cards to a spot you wanted them to be since you were a kid. Awesome.

Not my favorites, but guys who deserve a shout out.

Matt Leinart - First one to give Warner congrats on the game winning drive. It shows me you get it and if Warner retires after winning the Super Bowl, you can lead my Arizona Cardinals.
Jerheme Urban - I have been on your jock all season, but you made some key catches this postseason.
Ralph Brown - You have made some big plays when called upon.
Ben Graham - What a great final punt of the game. You put them at their own 7 and put it out of bounds so no one could return it.

Antrel Rolle - You took the position change in stride, worked your tail off to be a good free safety, took to coaching, and even when you fell behind due to injury in training camp, you hung in there thru some rough spots in the early season. Thanks for your attitude, consistent effort, diligent work in the film room, and your can-do approach. You've gone from a bad cornerback to an improving free safety and a good playmaker. Nice job!!!

Reggie Wells - You are the glue that holds the offensive line together. You may not be an all-pro, but your consistent play, enthusiam, and solid pass blocking has been one of the keys to a dramatically improved offensive line. Thanks for sticking it out in the desert when you had a chance to go elsewhere. Enjoy the Super Bowl!!!

Sean Morey - You are the epitome of a great teammate and special teams captain. You are the type of fringe player a special teams coach can depend upon. You made the greatest play on special teams all year in a game that the Cardinals tried to lose. Thanks for your hard work and giving it everything you've got. Enjoy Hawaii! It's the perfect reward to a fantastic season.

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
Nate Hodel - A great person on and off the field, has been here as long as Adrian Wilson and stuck it out here, Thanks Nate for grabbing my cell phone and calling my brother Mark right after the game. That was Awesome!!!! Pics coming

Kurt Warner - You are a better man off the field than on, and thats HARD TO DO!!!

Anquan - You stuck it out here as well, sit down with the team and get these differences set aside now before they blow up, fire your scumbag agent and lets get a ring!

Clancy - You were bagged on all year, Your Defense is whats sending us to the big dance. Great job bud.

And the man who doesnt get the recognition he deserves... Russ Grimm. It all starts up front and you came here and changed our line from years and years of being on rollerskates. Great Great Job

So, MANY heroes...

I've mentioned before that someday the Cards would do something "historic". Something that would immortalize the players of that team for ALL-Time. Like the 69' Jets. WHO on this planet doesn't have a "soft" spot for the under-dog?? The down-trodden. The kid who was picked on all thru High School.

BUT I want to give a SPECIAL THANK-YOU to the O-line. ALL year they were told they sucked at running the ball. How many times did we rail on Levi Brown?? Should've taken A.P, etc. ...And yet these guys were mentally tough and when the chips were on the table, they showed up BIG-Time. A team is ONLY as good as the parts that make it. I AM VERY PROUD OF EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH THESE CARDINALS!! ...AND that goes to my fellow Cardinal fans, as well. For all the heart & perseverance you've shown over the years. I CELEBRATE THIS WITH YOU!! :D

How do you call out a few when the entire team is a collection of guys you would not mind mentoring your kids? Seriously, there is not one T.O., Pacman, the old Ray Lewis, etc, etc, etc.. on this team. Now, in the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl is when you would typically hear about a player (s) getting into some sort of trouble. You won't hear that about our guys though. They are all a bunch of no-nonsense, classy, selfless individuals...
If I had to call out a few:

1.) Kurt Warner: Say what you will... but I have no doubt that his decision to come to camp and WIN the starting job is why we are here today. Had Whiz taken the easier route and named Matty the starter, things would be vastly different. Thank you Kurt for being the MAN you are. You are now a lock for the Hall of Fame. But even better, you are a Hall of Fame teammate, husband, father and citizen. More than any other player on this team, I am beyond grateful that you came to the desert and that I have had the opportunity to watch you on the field, and come to better understand who you are off the field... You redefine class. Thank You!

2.) Bertrand Berry: Never once was I ever ashamed to say that I was a fan of yours. I saw you during the pre-game warm ups as you stood alone in a corner of the SEZ. At one point, opening your arms and holding them up to the sky. My son asked what you were doing... I knew. And I told my son that you were taking it all in, and speaking to our maker. I know how much this all means to you... Watching you yesterday, embracing the Championship Trophy, walking around the field with tears flowing - I couldn't help but get misty-eyed myself. You took less money to stay here with us because you believed. And we believed in YOU! Bertrand, THANK YOU for simply being YOU! And for being yet another star who serves as a tremendous role model for my kids!

3.) A-Dub: Few others on this team have worked as hard and given so much to this franchise. You perservered like nobody else. You deserve this more than any other person on this team. You played your heart out yesterday, as you do every Sunday. And when all the talk was about some punk named Dawkins, you outplayed him and did it with your typical aggressive, CLEAN classy way!! Watching you speak with the tears steaming down your face - I had to hide my face in my hands... It was simply too much...

4.) The rest: Darnell, Gerald Hayes, Rackers, Reggie Wells... Couldn't be happier for a great group of warriors...

5.) Coach Whiz, Coach Grimm, Pendy and Todd Haley: Wow! The first 9 & 7 team to reach the Super Bowl. Incredible effort of your part to somehow turn this ship around when so many thought it was too late. You guys are history-making coaches. Soak it in fella's because you EARNED it!!!

To the coaching staff: This post season has been about a group of great players coming together and playing like a great TEAM. Every team in the NFL has great players. The teams that advance are the ones that do it together and that starts with the players buying into the coaching staff's plan. Both coordinators have put together terrific game plans this post season and the players are making it happen.

But my biggest thanks has to go to the Bidwills. You finally opened up the checkbook and hired a coaching staff that knows how to get it done. After just 2 years, look how far we've come! Todd Haley is not the cheapest OC in the league, but he's looking like one of the best. Russ Grim might be the highest paid OL coach in the league, but he's got the OL playing at a championship level.

Yeah , as begrudgingly as I feel I can, I have to give props to the Bidwells for this one and hope they keep this in place.

First props to the Coaching staff though!! A Stellar job, through and through.

Finally to all the players - Offense , Defense and Special Teams and all the rotation players. Everyone has been doing exactly whats asked of them. The result is :newcards: #1
