Batum Jefferson and Kidd-GilChrist are all out.

I'm expecting a win tonight

Projected starting lineups
C: Tyson Chandler … Cody Zeller
PF: Jon Leuer … Marvin Williams
SF: P.J. Tucker … P.J. Hairston
SG: Devin Booker … Jeremy Lin
PG: Brandon Knight … Kemba Walker

I'm not. But I'm not expecting a loss either. On paper we do look like the better team but we've struggled all season against teams that start or rely on a 2 combo guard offense. It seems everyone does that better than we do.

Since Batum is the heart and soul of the Hornets we still might win despite the fact that the Suns are the 2nd worst NBA team right now.

Stupid starting price, Booker should be starting the rest of the year. Our young guys should be getting the playing time screw these guys that aren't even gonna be here!

Hornacek has confused effort with results. Its cute that Price tries hard, but he is god awful. Price at his peak is a lousy player, there is no fathomable reason that a guy of his "talent" should start, he shouldn't even be in the rotation.

Horny isn't learning from the mistakes he has been making all year long, he is compounding them.

I can think of one reason. Knight. I'd still rather not start Price but if Knight as the lead guard is negatively impacting everyone else, it might make sense to use the journeyman instead.

It is true that since Bledsoe went down, Knight has decided to go into full hero mode. The only Sun I've seen in recent years that took more lazy, long, early shot clock shots than him is Beasley.

Yeah I don't know if that's the reason Jeff is starting Price but it's the only rationalization I can come up with.

Yes, but Knight is exponentially better than Beasley.

Yeah, as you well know, I consider Beasley to be among the worst of the worst of the worst. Knight is way better and situationally Knight can actually be very good, but this "hero mode" version of Knight has been a mess, not on the level of Beasley, but he takes some "Beasleyesque" shots.

I honestly think the reason many players don't try hard for Hornacek is because of in his wildly inconsistent rotations.

He started Booker for so long...give Booker time to get used to it...but nah lets stop developing our young players try and pointlessly win games.

Is it possible that Hornacek is done and tired with this team and wants to get fired? If he gets resigned then he doesn't get his full remaining salary but he does if gets fired so could Hornacek be trying to purposely trying to forcethe Suns hand?

It may sound ridiculous but ridiculous is all reasons are the only thing that can possibly explain the rotation move that Hornacek has had for the Suns since becoming head coach.

Its remarkable how quiet this place gets when the Suns start doing well.

Great lift by Knight, playing with a lot of passion, Warren for 3, Booker for 3, now has 15 pts, 10 boards, Tele for 3, its basically just raining 3's in the 4th! Nice ball movement.

The bowling seems to have helped. :)

Tucker's energy early helped a lot too.
