Booker should not play heavy minuets. He is not the same player when tired. I liked how Watson left Bled and Booker on the bench until 8 min left in the 4th. They came back fresh.

To bad Booker got two quick B.S. fouls. Barbosa was GREAT

Agree. Barbosa was like the old school Blur!

I was quite amazed by Leandro's D... he used to get so hung up on screens - he still does a bit but nothing like before. A foul was inevitable before when his man drove on him and he's fixed that, too. I swear he's even working harder than he used to.

Len played easily his best game ever as a non-starter... he actually played with decent awareness. I don't remember any turnovers and he made two nice assist passes. He fouled a lot but a couple of those were phantom calls - as tends to happen against the Lakers.

The Lakers are the better team now but we have more youthful potential so I don't see them running far ahead of us though we may need to get a better coach. I particularly liked Nance, Jr... I think he'll be at least as good as his father...

I especially agree with your first two points about Leandro and Len. If Larry Nance Jr. proves to be as good as you think, the Lakers had a very good draft in 2015.

Len seems to be developing some consistency. I will take a double double from him any day.

Don't look now, because you might jinx him. But his per36 numbers (which are appropriated to consider in his case) are:

14 pts, 12 rebs, 2.5 blocks, and 5.6 fouls on 50% shooting (yes).

Which is virtually the same it was last year...

14 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 1.2 bpg, and 4.5 fouls but on 42% shooting. So an 8% increase in shooting indicates he's turned the corner or something?

Don't get me wrong, I thought Len was much better last year than the majority of people here thought he was and I was for extending him this past offseason but most were against the idea. Since he played PF so much alongside Chandler during the 2nd half of the season that his FG% was easily explainable and would bounce back once he went back to playing Center primarily. He's blocking more shots but he's also fouling a lot more, which is fine so long as the team has Chandler on the roster also to help cover the middle but I think he's playing at the level he'll reach on his own. The only way I see any of his stats going up is if they run plays through him on offense. He's good for a double double nightly provided he's able to stay on the court for around 30 minutes a night. His regular stats are virtually the same as last year also, same amount of mpg, ppg, and rpg.
