You're as bad as Eddie Johnson here. Channing didn't foul him, it was simply a bad call. The best Eddie could do to redirect the anger away from a stupid pass by Hill was to say that Channing was too close. Too close??? If he'd been a foot away you guys would have ripped him for not being up on his man.

Steve

I agree. It was not a foul on Frye. Maybe this is why the Suns get a break at the end.

When Jagu set his sights on a player, he is the most useless as far as he is concerned, you will understand better if you had read all his tirade last season about Amare.

We gave up 15 offensive rebounds to a team playing on a back to back....

And WHY THE HELL WAS NASH AND CARTER IN THE GAME WHEN WE NEEDED A DEFENSIVE STOP????

It should have been Hill-Dudley-Pietrus-Childress-Gortat.

Were you going for Gortitis there or do you look for something a little different from your center than most of the rest of us?

Steve

Haha! I was going for what you read exactly..

I like Gortata lol.

How's Gortzilla?

I'm well aware of his Amare and Frye hatred. It's a bit more understandable when it comes to Frye but really, the guy can't catch a break from some of the fans around here.

You do know we won right?:)
They have a better record and we just defended homecourt, it's ok.;)

Maybe this will teach them not to relax late in the fourth quarter? Seriously, the number of mistakes late in this game almost ruined about 45 minutes of hard work. And no, Frye didn't foul anyone, but the two inbounds turnovers and an offensive rebound almost cost us dearly.

Great game from Gortat obviously. The improvement he has shown since coming over is remarkable. Not only rebounding and playing solid D, but getting us interior points on the other end.

Replays show that was actually a goal-tending by Hill.

Lopez better get some of those "Hank Hill" butt pads for all the time on the pine he is looking at.

I'm liking the win but the Suns got a huge break when Okafor went out with an injury. Gortat played well. He was totally fatigued near the end of the game.

Late game meltdown notwithstanding, that was our most impressive win since LA, IMO.

Replay also showed that Frye didn't foul Paul.
Yea I guess.

Watching Gortat play so well is making Frye & Lopez play better too. Anyone else notice this?

Lopez 10 pts, 6 rebounds

Frye 11 pts, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks

I was thinking on that in-bounds play to Nash, the Suns should work on passing it to another player who then quickly passes it back to Nash. Hill would be a good recipient. I have the most faith in these two players late in game.

He's better this year on defense and I don't hate him as much as I did earlier this year, maybe because I care less about the Suns season...

Good teams don't let back-to-backs affect them, that's why wins against NO and Bos are good wins, no matter how you slice it.

I get frustrated by the guy also but I like the fact that he works his butt off out there. He's improved just about every aspect of his game and his teammates seem to genuinely like him. If he could add about 20 pounds to his hips and thighs he'd actually be a pretty good player. That's never going to happen, but still, IMO he has helped us much more than he's hurt us. He may be overpaid but that's true of 75% of the guys that lace 'em up.

Good, OLD teams, have much more of a problem in that regard than good, young teams. Boston is an old team and at no time did I feel we were getting their best but that wasn't true tonight. This was a very good win.
