Tucker plays like a junkyard dog. He should start over Beasley.

Tucker just did to the Hornets what teams have been doing to the Suns with regularity in the past. Offensive rebound. Good to be on the other end of that result for a change.

He's better than Amundson. This guy needs to be logging starter minutes every night.

Steve

Absolutely. It's incredible how much better the team is with him instead of Beasley(also speaks to how bad Beasley has been).

What a bizarre game. A fun one though. We have a strange team this year. Its shocking to say but I cant imagine where we would be without PJ Tucker right now. We'd probably only have 2 wins.

Beasley... wow... there isnt a lot to say. The guy is awful, just flat out awful. He is making the Childress signing look astute. We might be a .500 team once he finally starts racking up the DNP-coach's decision in the box scores.

I understand why Beasley gets his minutes and I know the FO still has dreams of him blossoming but we are just a far better team without him. If O'Neal stays healthy, this team minus Beasley is a playoff team. One and done probably but a playoff caliber team nonetheless. I know this was just a bad team we beat tonight but these guys are having to overcome Beasley which isn't much different than playing 4 on 5 while he's out there.

Steve Albert is growing on me. He is funny in a really odd way.
But he's stomping on sacred ground, using Al McCoy's "Oh brother!" line. Will he be saying, "Shazam!" for 3-pointers next?

Tucker with 15 points and 7 rebounds, plus the great defense. Fantastic.

Yeah but they need to stop calling him an energy guy. He's more than that. He started out playing inside at Texas and didn't even move to the small forward spot till his final year (IIRC) so his NBA development was a little stunted. I think he's becoming a legit 2 guard and he helps us on both sides of the ball.

Can someone please explain to me how Roger Mason Jr was allowed to stay in the game and take the last second 3pt shot when he already had 6 fouls on the play that he fouled Morris on?

gortat was a no show too
I have supported Gortat right from the start. But I can't understand his ON/OFF/OFF performances. Especially after he made his point and Scola got benched, giving him room. Letting Robin Lopez get the best of him? It makes no sense.

I'm with you on this. He's too good at times to play so wimpy at other times.

im a supporter too, but after his comments about not being the number one guy and with his erratic play, i dont like guys like that. just rubs me the wrong way.

I'd rather he keep his mouth shut but I know he's so big in Poland that he can't really do that. I'm not too bothered by his comments though as it's easy to have the meaning get a little twisted through the translation. I'm just disappointed in the way he's playing.

I think it's just a matter of time before Gentry starts Tucker, however, since he has already made two lineup changes he may wait awhile before starting Tucker over Beasley. However, if it were me, the change would be made already.
