Hornets @ Suns Wednesday game thread 2-24-2021

On Wednesday the Suns finish their two game home stand against the Charlotte Hornets before heading out on the road for three games against the Bulls (Friday), Timberwolves (Sunday) and the Lakers (Tuesday).

Hornets are 14-16 with their last game being a 132-110 loss to the Jazz on Monday.

Suns have improved to 20-10 with three wins in a row after their loss to the Nets.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 7 p.m. Arizona time.

The Hornets hope to have Gordon Hayward who is questionable.

Maybe but it seems to me that the last time it was announced he wasn't an All Star he struggled for a game or two. Fortunately he was added anyway, hopefully that will happen again this time around. But regardless, 50 points tonight, in a winning effort, would be great.

yup. I remember him kinda going in the tank for a week after last year's reserves were announced.

I hope he doesn't go out like a man trying to prove something. he's playing PERFECT basketball right now, as is the team and the focus needs to stay on being a team, rather than a one man "I'll show them!" show.

Devin has nothing to prove. It's more likely to be a distraction than help.

I'm hoping Devin is focused tonight if there is still a case to be made.

This Hornets team is dangerous, they were beating the Jazz for three quarters till the Jazz exploded with made 3's in the fourth.
