At one point I had a lot of respect for Horry.

No longer, he is scum and deserves to be tossed for the rest of the series.

Nash, on the other hand is the class of the NBA. Proof being in his interview at the end of the game.

Before the games, they deny their dirty play.. in the games they validate it. If we lose any players to suspension next game.. We may not win, but I hope we make them feel it.

This was an absolutely unacceptable move by Horry. A one game suspension would not be enough.

And that this is Horry's fault entirely. Also, that it would be completely unfair to bench two starters.

*****y -- I mean Horry -- is a coward. 6'10" vs. 6'3"? A body-and-elbow slam on an intentional foul? A coward!

Let's hope that the Suns argument, that Amare was off the bench to check in on an offense-defense switch, prevails.

I can't see the league suspending Amare in Game 5 and rewarding the Thugs of San Antonio.

Does it have to be a suspension or does the league have the option to hand out fines or something?

Suspensions would be awful....

Charles said it will not be fair to suspend Amare and Diaw. But rest of the folks are saying rule is rule.

The league will have to PROVE that they weren't checking in. BTW, it looked like they were more interested in finding out if Nash was hurt rather than joining a scrum.

Yep, Amare and Boris get suspended for a game.

Horry becomes the Spurs series MVP by his thug actions.

Brilliant!

This is why "mandatory sentence" punishments are wrong in real life and the NBA. Suspending a guy for running to the aid of his knocked out teammate is silly. Horry may have opened a Pandora's box. If this works out in the Spurs favor, why not have Burke break Duncan's jaw 5 feet from the Spurs' bench? Good luck seeing Duncan's teammates remain on the bench in that scenario. An easy way to trade Burke for Duncan and more.

This is the only reason behind the idea that the league won't suspend them... exactly for that reason.

I don't think Amare gets suspended. It's game 5 of the playoffs and he's a superstar. The league has a history of basing decisions on promoting the game over right and wrong. If it was the regular season I could see them playing the hard line on this but Stern is going to want to accept the Suns explanation.

If rules is rules, Horry gets suspended -- and Bowen would have for this game, too, after twice being reviewed. So if they can cut slack to the Spurs they damn well better cut slack to the Suns.

I'm watching Channel 12 news at 10:05, reporting the Horry incident, and there's no mention of a decision yet.

Are you saying that the league has made a decision?
