case study.

Whiz wants the oline to protect the QB every time while He passes every down, ahead or behind in every circumstance. Every defense don't have to guess much on Pass or run?

Once in awhile He'll give Edge or Beanie a run in a run formation but most of the time its a decoy for a play action pass. Once in awhile THT will break a long run from a pass formation as we "trick them" with a run play.

Besides that Whiz is weak willed on the run game! It is an afterthought as He ruins somes the best RB's in history! and Matt Leinart.

Just look at the play off games we actually run compared to losses, play by play and drive charts. Horton needs to advocate for his defense, And He should not need too!

Whiz has forgot the blueprint the Steelers have won with for decades.

so whiz wanted 3 and outs? Horton works for whiz, not the other way around.

You're palaver is old and stale. You are not smarter than Ken Whisenhunt in any way, shape, or form. Give it a rest.

You still don't get it. You are making the argument I have been making on this board for 4 years and acting like it is something new and acting like it is something I don't understand.

Newbies :pullhair:

I agree with you. I posted the stats that agree with you. I'm not sure why you're jumping to attack me. The entire point of the post that started this giant **** storm was me agreeing with you that the Cards D has historically been the weak point of the team and when the Cards were succesful the offense was essentially carrying the team. I'm not even sure what we're arguing about anymore.

Palaver--excellent word use. The last time I read that word was in a Robert Howard story, circa 1920's.

David Stern used palaver in his comments about the uproar caused when Stoudemire and Diaw came on the court and the Suns ultimately lost the series in the playoffs some years back...don't remember the exact circumstance but it had something to do with Horry, I think.

The word has stuck with me since...btw I think Stern is a jackwagon

No amount of technique is going to have DRC grow and pair, and tackle. That is DRC and his own battle.

Peterson can tackle, does tackle, and will tackle.

Nor is it a guarantee that DRC will suddenly "get" the zone coverage scheme. Peterson is a fantastic player who should be hard for the Cardinals to dismiss at the #5 spot, especially because of what he can bring to the return game.

I would guess that DRC isn't as safe on this roster as we may believe that he is for a couple reasons.

1-He is terrible covering in the zone scheme. Just looks lost which is normal from a CB from a small school that has great athleticism.

2-He does not show an interest in playing physical.

3-He consistently shows poor effort, and a disregard for the minor details.

4-He will be a free agent in 2 years.

It would not shock me to see the Cardinals take Peterson at #5, and then once the CBA is signed sign Ike Taylor and trade DRC.
