The hope for this team will rise and fall with how Amare asserts himself. I definitely wouldn't be impressed with a Nash-dominant offense that gets us another season of 50 wins and first-round exit.

i'll be rooting and watching the suns just about every game unless work or family issues get in the way. I hope this is a good season and Amare finally boucnes back to his old form. You always know nash will come out to play every game well expect on defense :) lol, should be a intresting year GO SUNS!!!

It's going to be hard to get interested until after football season, IMO.

Ditto. I have to admit my interest started to wane when Shawn / D'Antoni left, and Shaq arrived.

As long as Nash/Amare are here, I will still watch every game.

It's harder to follow them outside Phoenix when they're not doing well because they're not on national broadcasts as much, but my support for them won't waver.

Not with League Pass, it's not.

Just like every other year, I'll watch every game from opening tip to final buzzer. My passion for the Suns has not waned in the slightest. This is going to be a fun team to watch.

I debated for about 20 minutes about cancelling my League Pass because it's pretty expensive, but I can't bring myself to do it. Even though I have the reputation of being a complete homer, I know we're not going anywhere this year. I think we have a playoff-caliber team, but certainly not championship caliber.

But the up tempo style and a training camp for Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley pique my interest.

I am obviously in no position to say who or who aren't "real" fans, but it frustrates me that this is even a topic. If the Suns are your team then stick with them. They will still be fun to watch and you have to live and die with your team. It's no fun if you just hop on when things are going well. JMO.

I DVR every game and watch them in about an hour and ten minutes. Nothing has changed except for my expectations. That's 100 hours of fine entertainment per year.

I have never been so indifferent going into the NBA season. Even during the darkest of dark days for the Cards, I was always utterly excited going into EVERY season. This is just bad for the Suns. They got the exact guy I wanted in the draft (Clark), but even that doesn't get me going. I am damned near apathetic....

I LOOOOOOOVE Jared Dudley. I'd love a lineup of Nash-Hill-Dudley-Clark-Stoudemire. I'm down for that....

For me its going to depend on the way Gentry deploys the troops. Last year I liked how he did it until that stretch of eight or so games when he was desperate to win and ran the starters to exhaustion. That turned my stomach, just the way it did when D'A did it. SSOL requires more bench than normal tactics and if a coach isn't prepared to do it right, then he's better off taking another approach to the game. Or, from my perspective, coaching somewhere else...

Same here. I SHOULD be cutting back on spending!
