I'm stuck at work while they install 6 HVAC units so probably all day Sat and Sunday.

Our game starts at 1:25 on FOX, I have Directv on my computer, but I can't watch the game on it because it's the 49ers so it will be blacked out locally.

I checked with Comcast/Xfinity, it doesn't seem like I can watch FOX online only taped shows not live tv.

Am I stuck with those other internet sites now and if so, which ones have been working this year?

thanks

If you are computer savvy you can try firstrowsports.eu but do not click on anything that says you need to download x to view this and close or minimize every screen that comes up except for the one with the game on. Sometimes you can't get a download box off the middle of the game view but at least you can listen to it.

This is how I have to watch every cardinals game unfortunately. Once you get passed all the adds its a decent stream sometimes. You can close the adds after 30 seconds usually. There will be a TINY x somewhere on the screen to close them. Just don't click ANYTHING else on the site.

At work, no tv.

Thanks to Duck for the firstrowsports. I've used it before and am aware of the don't click on anything else stuff. Was hoping there was another site but Xfinity is saying I can't watch Fox live on my computer.

Maybe they'll finish early so I can see it at home but seems unlikely.

oh, direct tv on computer isnt considered TV? lame.

You could always go old school and have the drive chart open on nfl.com, the radio broadcast on and the gameday thread open :)

No you can't watch local games on Sunday Ticket so it won't let me watch the 49ers against the Cards because that's the locally televised game on FOX.

And Xfinity doesn't show Fox live, it does other channels like ESPN and Pac 12 net, but not FOX.

I'm just going to use an old laptop and an external monitor and go First Row Sports. I don't want to use my actual work computer so I'll use a spare laptop.

could always go slingbox and etc too but that streaming site is likely your best route. Or buy game rewind and watch it late sunday night.

Adfreetime for $1.99 a month + NFL game pass (which is free by using adfreetime)
You get can get every NFL game on your computer. You do have to be able to know how to change your DNS server.

My wife loves to treasure hunt at goodwill, I saw one of these there for 5 bucks but these days you probably have to get the signal converter as well.

6 AC units?? You must be growing a lot of pot.

No they're all 15+ years old. The landlord had it in their budget to replace 5 of them and the 6th is our responsibility but by doing it with the other 5 we got a price break.

The downside is that's 6 old units to deinstall and take off the roof by crane, and 6 units to crane on the roof and install so they said 2 full days.

I'm hoping they finish early sunday so I can see at least part of our game at home on a big tv in comfort.

VIPBox is another one, streams seem to be from the source as firstrow but seem to work better on VIPBox

They'll probably want to get home ASAP on Sunday too so hopefully they are on their game all weekend.

Lol holy ****. I'm a general foreman and a member of local 359(HVAC) we just did 12 picks on our APS project last Monday changed out 5 units all from 4-6 tons and deinstalled the rest. Crane showed up at 7am moved it 4 times over 2 buildings done and cleaning up by 1pm. If your doing a straight change out it should take less than an hour per unit.

2 days for a full crew and crane for 6 units. Your company is getting ****ed

You should be able to bypass the blackout on direct tv with a proxy.

Google "proxy server" or go here.

At the bottom of that page are instructions for using a proxy. Set proxy to manual and enter the IP address of one of the proxies.
Once you get the stream going, Go back to settings and turn the proxy off or it will lag.

No more blackout.

We're not paying the landlord is, except for one unit.

That's actually surprising I'm not saying you're wrong you obviously do this for a living, but my past experience is even changing out 2 units (bigger ones 15 and 20 tons) took a whole saturday with all the startup prep.

These are mostly 5 ton units I think there is one 7.5 ton. They're using existing ductwork but they have to replace all the "curbs" and the landlord has very strict policies on how the units are removed etc for environmental issues that apparently REALLY increase the amount of time it takes.

The unit we're paying for the final bid came back more than double the bid I got from our HVAC vendor, my vendor bid on the project and his bid was higher than the winning bid. He said the way they required you to do it, dramatically increased the costs of doing it.

Also try nutjob.eu or wiziwig.tv. Same caveats apply

Looks like I might luck out they want to start at 6am Sat which means they're saying they want to get the bulk of it done Sat andthen Sunday they wouldn't need building access and then I wouldn't have to come in.

If your replacing curbs it adds a lot of time cause now you got roof work. Its not just a change out you got to patch the roof or make it bigger set and level the new curb all before you can fly up and set the new one. I was replacing 15 year old units with brand new ones that are much smaller so I ordered curb adapters that sit on top of the the old curb.
