I have a Shop-Rite card and use it every summer when I go through Manahawkin en route to Long Beach Island. Great store!

This is in Albq.... A Crowboys wasteland for decades.. You could never even find so much as a Cardinal teacup in this town.. Times have indeed changed.

I love the way things are now. I've been a fan since they got here, tickets to sun devil stadium, which was a sewer, let's be honest.

I get approached all the time by bandwagon fans thinking I'm one. Usually they only know Fitz and ask about him.

Best defense? Ask who they think our long snapper will be this year. They never have a clue. Been doing it for years, it shuts them the F up.

C'mon. Just because you had to pee in a horse trough doesn't make the place a sewer.

Dude, you know. Standing in that heat infested urinal, lined up like monkeys with pee running down the center drain. All while holding a deliciously warm beer. Pure heaven.

another surefire sign... was listening to radio in LA and they were going through the Rams first 4 games and when they got to the Cards game, without even hesitation, they said: "oh, that's a loss". we're now a team that people respect and EXPECT to lose to when bad or mediocre teams see us on their schedule.

this is fun. hope it continues to be!

I've seen young people in the LA area wearing Cardinals gear. A few more seasons like last year and this team will have more of a national fanbase.

It wasn't the trough that bothered me so much as the trough island that left you staring at the guys across from you peeing into their trough.

And for the record I don't really mind the bandwagoners. Everyone has to start somewhere. I remember walking into SDS for the first time after my friend had to talk me into going to the preseason game because "the Cardinals suck".

When I am talking to those guys I will give them an honest conversation and usually try to talk about the past and tell them to look up the history of the Cards because it is a really interesting read.

When I went there, it reminded me of old JFK Stadium in Philly. You haven't lived until you've been in an old decrepit stadium, complete with horse trough urinals, with 120,000 other people.

IMO opinion bring on the band wagon fans. It is our responsibility to "coach them up" and be quality fans. I take pride in my 40+ years of being a Cards fan and don't care that I have suffered more than most NFL fans and the newbies are just enjoying the new good times now. Part of the reason is that I became a Cards fan when my family moved to the St Louis area just as Coryell became the HC. Was I a band wagon fan or was I simply lucky rooting for a team that had suddenly become very good?

Back to the OP, the Cards get as much if not more air time than most of the other NFL teams. NFLN always shows a Card or two during just about any promotion/commercial they run. All the pundits have us as at worse a playoff team and many as a SB favorite.

Cards are at minimum top ten as far as relevant and I would suggest top 5. That's simply mind blowing.
