How long will we play the starters?

Do you think that the starters will play longer then usual for a fourth game so that Matt can get his confidence back?

I would say NO....

The last thing we need is to get Fitz or Q or anybody we need for the season hurt just to try and get Matt's confidence up. He's going to have to work his way thru this, and besides our "reserves" are adept at catching the football. He just needs to be more in command of the game no matter who's out there with him.

Last year against Denver most of the first team guys were done after the first series for each team. Edge came out midway through the first drive.

I'd expect the same thing Saturday.

Yer right. For some reason I thought the game was Aug. 30th, same as last year.

Some starters will play longer. Didn't Whiz say that guys like Antrel Rolle is playing longer so that he can get some reps?

If Matt comes in and lights it up we know that he and the starting line will sit after a series or two. I guess I'm wondering if he doesn't do so well, will they keep the line out there longer till he does look good?

Denver coach Mike Shanahan traditionally doesn't play his starters in the final preseason game.
