I called to get Direct TV setup and it sounded like I might be getting ripped off in some areas... one area is setup for two rooms, it costs $55. I thought you could get it for free? Another is if they can't set it up. They say they will charge $75 if they can't do anything! Doesn't that sound a little steep?! I thought I read it was $15 in some other places... I'm getting the national package deal they are selling everwhere with the NFL Game Ticket with all premium channels for four months free for four payments of 59.75.
Did any of you guys get anything better? There are a lot of people selling direct tv and I don't want to get ripped off... thanks!

I bought it online and it was $16 and change with tax for a 2-room deal. Sunday Ticket is $60/mo for 4 months and I get 4 months of mega-channels for free. The only way it costs more is by adding the DVR and that ups the price to $115 or so.

I went to Best Buy, got NFL TIcket for $60 a month for four months ($240) with all the premium channels stations free for four months, $4 a month extra for additional receiver. The two receiver set cost $99.99 with a $100 rebate plus I got a $50 Best Buy certificate and FREE installation which was done in a few days So faf so good. Also, don't sign up for the viewing guide ($4.99/month), I declined and they sent me a free issue with an offer to buy it now for $2.99. I'm happy and psyched for Sunday

This is the programing package that I purchased. 4 months of premium channels with NFL direct ticket for 60 something a month.

I also received free installation and a free dish.

I went with the directivo receiver (an extra 250)

suncardfan, let me tell you. this is the best 250 I have ever spent.

the direct tivo receiver lets me record 2 games at once while I watch one that I have already recorded. It is the best thing since sliced bread. and recording is so easy! no more vcr tapes or hassling with bad slow motion functions

directtivo lets you break down games better than any vcr could hope because its using data from a hard drive.

tivo lets you switch back and forth between what you've got recorded as well as live tv so easy it is almost criminal.

have you ever sat down to watch tv, and thought man, 100 channels and nothing on? with directivo, it will never happen again my man. I promise you.

spend the 250 on the directivo receiver. Its worth 10 times that much.

In Canada, we receive NFL Sunday Ticket as a subscription with our Cable TV provider, which provides a digital box. It's $159.00 CDN for the season. They also offer a package that includes NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL Europe, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey league for $24.95 a month.,

Hey that would be cool! Would be nice to meet some people in Fresno. Just moved up here few months ago and haven't made too many friends yet and of course I haven't found anyone up here who likes the Cardinals.

Isn't that like $1.87 American?
