How realistic would a Kevin Durant trade to the Boston Celtics from the Phoenix Suns be? The zombie rumor has been resurrected once again, with the Suns star connected to the Celtics by speculating NBA analysts who think the team might consider making some truly intense moves to land the aging star forward. And while it is no lie to suggest that KD is one of the best to ever play the game, he is also closer to done as a high-level player than not.

Would it make sense for Boston to either gut their roster or to trade star forward Jaylen Brown in his prime to make such a deal work? What would the logic be in favor of either of these paths for the Celtics?

Cohost of the CLNS Media "Garden Report" podcast, Bobby Manning, linked up with the Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin to talk it over on a recent episode of the show. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about whether there is a sensible deal to be had that would put Durant in green and white.
