What Fitzgerald said about his play yesterday:

“I have to make that play,” Fitzgerald said. “That’s a momentum play. I’m expected to make that, I’m paid to make that play and I need to make that play.


“I have to do a better job of getting open, creating separation and being a viable option in the passing game. Do a better job in the run game. I have to play better.”

I would say this was one of Fitzgerald's worst games I have ever seen out of him. Last time I saw him play this poorly was before Kurt Warner ever got here.

That is how to be accountable.

Man, Larry has a lifetime pass from me. While I was dismayed at the drops and yelled a bit. I just can't get too angry with Fitz when there's other areas to direct my ire.

My guess is Rosen will review the game tape a hundred times to see where he can do better.

I seem to remember Fitzgerald getting crushed by a Seahawks player, while making a nice catch over the middle in yesterday's game. That alone makes his drops a little bit easier to swallow.imo

Fitz could drop all 11 passes intended for him in a game and I wouldn't even have one bad thought. Dude is exempt
