Any formula or system that takes input from Trent Dilfer needs to be trashed!!

I thought he retired for real prior to the season? Or did he play some and then retire? Honestly with the whole DA fiasco I turned off football in about week 5 or 6 and missed pretty much everything.

I wish I could forget that frigging Vikings game when we gave him one more moment of glory. Literally his last great moment. :bang::bang::bang:

I doubt that he had much input. They turned to football "experts" for general input but it looks like they brought in some real heavy hitters to devise the system. I'm interested in seeing how accurate it is in real life. The passer rating was a very minor grading tool but often got tossed around as if it told the whole story. Perhaps this system will more accurately reflect a QB's impact on wins and losses.

I'm old school, the one quarter back, has to be a member of the back field.
the run game smoothness and play action fakes, is a lost art.
it needs to be auto pilot before we ever consider the forward pass.

Sometimes "old school" is just another way of saying behind the times. The game has changed. Until it changes again you're not going to see Running Backs averaging 30 plus carries a game. Believe it or not, the forward pass is here to stay.
