The Houston Cougars have ridden one of the best defenses in the country to the cusp of the Final Four, and now they will look to complete that trip when they take on No. 2 Tennessee in the Midwest Regional final of the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
The Midwest has mostly gone to form, thus the meeting between No. 1 and No. 2 in Indianapolis. The winner will move on to San Antonio.
Houston is favored by 3 1/2 points as it looks to make its first final four since 2021, and just its second since 1984.
The No. 1 Houston Cougars will take on No. 2 Tennessee in Sunday's first game, which will start at 12:20 p.m. Mountain (2:20 p.m. local/Eastern, 1:20 p.m. Central) at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Houston plays Tennessee Sunday, March 30, at 12:20 p.m. MT/1:20 p.m. CT on CBS.
The Cougars are 3 1/2-point favorites, according to odds on BetMGM.com. With an over-under of 123 1/2, Houston is expected to win 63-60.
The winner advances to the Final Four in San Antonio, where it will play next Saturday in a semifinal against Florida or Texas Tech.

It writes: "Houston has compiled a 19-18-0 ATS record so far this year. Tennessee has covered 20 times in 37 chances against the spread this season. The 74.2 points per game the Cougars record are 11.3 more points than the Volunteers give up (62.9)."
The site predicts that Houston will win the game and that the Cougars will cover the point spread. It is taking the over.
