Impressed:
Johnny Estrada - Calls a good game, contributes with his bat
Orlando Hudson - I was kind of down on him earlier, but his glove and bat have contributed and have payed off
Stephen Drew - I didn't realize he could flash the leather as well as he has
Carlos Quentin - WOW
Brandon Webb - I never thought he could become the ace that he has, but he's been brilliant
Eric Brynes - Probably the best FA signing in the entire league in terms of $$$ vs. Production.

Ho-hum
Chad Tracy - Thought for sure he would have a breakout season
Conor Jackson - Really average defense with an average bat
Luis Gonzalez - Thanks for the memories
Shaun Green - Thanks for helping the Dodgers with Brad Penny

Disappointed - Bull Pen

I would add the Vargas and Enrique to the ho-hum (mainly because I didn't expect too much more than they are doing) and Nippert to the disappointed (because I can no longer see him as a major league pitcher with any kind of potential).

Agree with all the impressives but I would add Julio to that list. Who knows where we'd be without him and it only cost us El Duque

Miggy- ho-hum
Cruz- ho-hum
Enrique- impressive at first but ho-hum overall

Vargas- dissapointing
Tracy- dissapointing

Nippert- disaster
Papa Grande- disaster

Russ Ortiz- Fat, Rich, and horrible

I think you have to judge Gonzo in two halves - the first one was not impressive, but now? Fantastic!

I agree others' assesments....

Ive been very impressed with Orlando Hudson, he's been everything he was said to be on defense and has done better than expected with the bat after having a rough start to the year. Ive also been impressed with Eric Byrnes even though he has cooled off a bit the last couple weeks. He has rebounded excellently from a disappointing season last year, and it will be a blow to the team if they don't resign him. Jeff DaVanon has been a great bench player for us, I just hope he returns from the DL healthy.

My biggest disappointment has been the bullpen. There are so many quality arms down there yet they are collectively average at best. Claudio Vargas needs to step it up and soon. From now until September, he's playing for a contract.
