I am attempting to download AVG anti-virus pro that I just bought and keep getting this error.
Anyone know how to fix it?

This is the download link for the current version of AVG.

Duckjake what is telling you it is turned off? Windows security or the AVG icon in the system tray?
When I click on that link it gives my the HTTP 403(forbidden) error?
Which browser are you using KoC ? Because it seems there's a lot of 403 errors with IE7.
Anyway try clearing the cache/cookies and return. Or try with another browser.
On the Internet Explorer 6 tools menu, click Internet options, then go in general tab, temporary internet files section and click on delete files button (next to delete cookies button iirc)
I am contacting their help desk.
Wow, stumped the chaz.
Amazing.
Need more input.
Is there any more information on that page?
Try this link to bypass DNS.

Their support may be able to help you best. I am not sure they have phone support for retail users though.
Has to be something with your computer or ISP. Works fine for me.
Damnit...then disable your antivirus/firewall/security software/download assistant for a few minutes and retry.
Or download it there http://www.majorgeeks.com/download886.html
Still doesn't work.
I have sent them an email.
If I could I would just cancel the order and stick with the free edition. Too late know though. Damn impulse buying!
Yeah I just realized you gave KoC the link to test the redirection and not just for giving him the free version. I'm stupid. This is the free version. Pro version is a different file.
I figured it out. My Zone alarm was blocking java scripts.
Thanks guys!

I recommend the Pro version.
I have upgraded computers before and found viruses the free version missed. The free version is also easier to subvert.
My niece got a virus that that made the free version unable to download updates.
