I know we won't cut him. But, if we did, I wouldn't be surprised if a team picked him up and he made a miracle comeback. This is so Cardinal like.
Nah, the guy is done, and it's Keim's fault for forcing the issue which much like Pugh, from the horse's mouth they said they had an enough... I actually salute Hudson and Pugh for telling him they would rather retire up front and then being smart enough to take the moron's money when he kept badgering them

Hudson went downhill quickly. The trade was almost universally praised on the board at the time. Plenty of stuff to lay at Keim's doorstep, including the Ford and Anderdon trades. That isn't one.
Basically the real world equivalent of these sorts of comments is suggesting that one as an adult shouldn’t be held responsible for poor performance at their job such as say a police officer or a teacher because a 3rd grader would also probably suck at being a cop or a teacher.

LOL at Hudson.

Jesus. Get royally ripped off in the trade and then Hudson just stole his lunch money after Keim begged him to take it.
Not to defend Keim (Keim sucks), but the trade was not bad at all when made. Didn't we all cheer for it when the news broke out? Hudson was a huge factor in us starting the last season with 9-1. Too bad it did not work in our favor as time goes. There must be something about our offense that Hudson seriously did not like or did not want to adjust to that he suddenly decided to retire after the last season.
