Cincinnati calls and offers Jay Bruce and Homer Bailey for Chris Owings, Zeke Spruill, Tyler Skaggs, Matt Stites and Adam Eaton and Andrew Chafin. Do you make this deal?

No jiuce behind this, just hypothetical only.

Not sure I would do it. Bruce does provide some pop but career .258 hitter with high strike out numbers reminds me of Adam Dunn. Not really sold on Bailey either but last couple of years he has been pretty good. However if ARZ could substitute Delgado for Skaggs in the deal I would do it. I know Skaggs hasn't been that great lately but he is still only 22 years old and I believe he can turn into a really good SP.

No way. We are not those two players away and 3 or 4 of those guys you want to trade can contribute help us win for the next few years. Skaggs can still be a MLB starter, Owings can be our 2B of the future. I can keep going on, but the farm is not worth two players that do not add that much more to this team.

No way, and it's not even close. Homer Bailey in his 7 year career has a 4.23 era. We don't need another back of the rotation guy. With Corbin, Miley, Cahill, McCarthy, Delgado, Skaggs and Bradley, I think we can find 5 of the 7 to put together a strong starting rotation next year.

A power bat is EXACTLY what this team needs, and Jay Bruce fits the bill, but I'm not giving up SIX of out top prospects for him.

I'd love to see Matt Davidson bece that power hat and move Prado to LF
