conner does not upgrade Drake, no, Drake left the team. So, Conner should have no impact to Drake.

I wanted nothing to do with big-game choker, made-of-glass Conner. Nice guys aren't always good players. Really hope I'm wrong, but it says something that the team with a backfield of Jaylen Samuels, Bennie Snell, and Anthony McFarland didn't want him back and want a 1st-round RB this year.

I’m not excited, but it’s a solid signing. I think he’s basically a statistical wash with Drake. We didn’t get worse with his addition. There is a lot of upside if he stays healthy all season.

It’s not about him being a straight up upgrade over drake. The real question is whether Conner plus 7 mill is an upgrade over Drake. The answer is yes.

Drake is a good back, maybe not a primary back but in the right offense can be a baller, that's why he has been paid
