Part of me is thrilled that this team appears to be a 100 times more competitive than last years team...The other part of me is completely aggravated that they haven’t capitalized on some winnable games (A la Tremaine Brock dropping a game winning INT against the Lions, the defensive giving up a 3rd & 11 today allowing the Ravens to ice the game).

Losing when you are so close is arguably more painful than getting blown out. I know I should probably be happy this team is competing, but be honest, when is this team going to get its first win? I hate that Carolina has the extra time to heal/prepare for the Cards next Sunday...If they don’t pull it off at home against the Panthers they might not be favored in a game until maybe week 7 @ the Giants?

I really feel like Kyler’s second year in this system is when the Cardinals can be a playoff contender, but man having patience sucks!

KM has been holding his own by a standard of a rookie with 2 games under his belt. KK is actually the one I'm more worried about. His play calling is pretty bad at times, his balance in the run game is illogical and his redzone are head scratching. Did anyone notice when we were on the 4 and we were in a run formation with a 10 personnel. Nobody was fooled for a second on what that was. Their DBs and LBs on the strong side didn't even flinch. The play action was laughable and Chase and KM both roll out to the strong side where a sea of purple is waiting.

Trust me, blow outs are hella worse than close losses. Go watch some 2018 tape if you miss the blowout days ;-)

Our offense is putting drives together, just not executing in the red zone. Also missing some basic execution/dumb penalties. Not a stretch to imagine this offense becoming better and better.

This Ravens team is really good, this close loss shouldn't sting too bad. Our team isn't going to win a ton of games this year, personally im just looking for growth out of the young guys this year.

Once KM gets his footing and KK realizes his vision of his Texas Tech playbook setting the NFL on fire was a pipe dream we will start winning games. The pieces to be a .500 team are already there and the defense is serviceable so far.

Hopefully KK is like a sponge at this stage and can have someone who understands NFL offense can mold his playbook into something more effective.

Just mold it with the Chiefs playbook lol.

The reason why close games are more "painful" than blow outs is because you watch the entire game rather than checking out at halftime

Kliff’s learning curve has to catch up with Kyler.

Running the ball can be successful even if it’s not successful. Huh? What I mean is when you attempt to run the ball you keep the defense honest. We need to give Kyler some sort of a running threat so we can work off of that.

Four wr sets may be the trend but without a threat of the run it is much easier for defenses to deal with. Ask every offensive lineman on this team if they think they can gain a yard running the ball and they will tell you yes.
