I'm not throwing Skeletor under the bus. But I'm not going to say that he's the reason we won the Denver game any more than Max Hall was the reason we won the New Orleans game.

Denver is a bad football team. If they weren't a bad football team, the head coach wouldn't have been fired last Tuesday. Give me a break, CF.

Kyle Orton was 9 of 28 for 117 yards the week before against KC. Very strong performance there.

This team does not need alot from its qb in order to win. Just play within himself and avoid stupid mistakes. The Cards won against Denver because they had a qb on the field that did not match Orton mistake for mistake. That allowed the rest of the team to perform and win.

That's what impressed me about Skelton. He did not act like the whole game rested upon his shoulders. He performed like he was a member of the team and as long as he did his job, and avoided mistakes, his team would win.
