Suns are my Kryptonite!
I am jealous. I wish I was in Phoenix to help out! If you ever need "expert" Suns analysis, just be sure to drop me a line!! Good luck and congratulations!!!

Congratulation, George!
As a caring fellow poster, I will stick to my only unsolicited advice for ya. Stay away from excessive use of stats!

It's nice to have a site where I can sometimes talk some Suns talk. I know when I talk to my wife about the Suns (for the last 10 years), it's going in one ear and out the other-hee, hee.

Fortunately my brother, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law are all huge Suns fans. It wasn't for them I would probably have as many or more posts per day than Georgey boy. Actually I probably do anyhow.

I think my neighbor uses my garden hose on the side of my house to water his lawn when I'm not home.

The bad part is that I will miss the first game I have a chance to attend (Saturday) because of my other life doing Irish music reporting. My first game will be the Utah game.
Ordinarily I would rush back and post my report immediately - except that I have a Parade and Faire to cover the next morning.
Since my piece will not be as quick as I would like, I will try to focus on what the being a reporter at a game experience is like. I honestly don't know.
The only sports event I've covered as a reporter was football game by the Glendale Community College Gauchos. I sat next to a reporter from the Republic who charted every play. My struggle was to figure out which player carried the ball -- I guess I miss the play by player commentors at times.
The most interesting part of watching the game from the press box was being next to the defensive coach who was calling reads and defensive shifts. It was wild hearing him call a change in defense which was signaled to the players from the sideline - and then watch it happen.
I really don't know what it will be like, but I'm sure it will be interesting.
