The way they dominated the Broncos sure makes the Cardinals win over Seattle even more impressive than when it happened.

Arians should have the confidence of our guys sky high going into next season. With that, and the chances of Seattle having a Super Bowl hangover next season, I think the outcome of this game actually helps our chances for next year.

Not to mention the looming contract extensions of Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, and Russel Wilson in the next couple years.

they are the superbowl champions and we didn't even make the playoffs, that loss is forgotten by everyone outside the phoenix metro area,

and if it is remembered the rest of the nation and the pundents will just chalk it up to an"any given sunday" anomaly
and lets face it, it was an ugly win,

overall this is the suckiest day that ever sucked a suck

Did anyone else catch the pre-game comment that BA shipped all the scouting reports on the Seahags to the Broncos to help them get ready for the game. Didn't seem to help LOL.

The worst thing about the Seahag victory is the next few months of media and talking heads gushing on-and-on about the them, how they assembled the team, how smart Carroll is, blah-blah-blah. Plenty of sour grapes from me.

Hopefully their celebration lasts until pre-season and they all come to training camp fat, sassy, and hung-over/stoned.

I'm not a fan of the Seahawks at all, but you have to give it to them, they earned every single praise being heaped on them this season and like it or not they proved they are the best team in the NFL.

in the SB against the steelers,...the seahawks were flat out robbed...they beat pitt in every facet of the game, but they just could not beat the officials..

last night they left no doubt, they earned that win and never gave Denver a breath of air, they came to play and play hard,......division rival or not, that ass whoopin was impressive and luck had nothing to do with it...

we have the two best teams in the nfl in our division fellas....do y'all realize exactly HOW good our team is going to have to be to come out on top?...............we are looking at the possibility of fielding the best Cardinals team ever seen,...and not winning the division....

nah...we gonna kill'em all....

That game puts an exclamation point on the reality that the NFC West IS the best division in football. Seattle dominated Peyton Manning and the Broncos from start to finish. That wasn't a game that was a beat-down.

Now it's up to Steve Keim and Terry McDonough to upgrade the talent and Bruce Arians and his coaches to maximize the performance to make the Cardinals truly competitive in the division. They have to get BETTER, especially on offense and special teams. Staying at the same level won't be enough.

Really hate the Seahags. Can`t stand the aholes. Now we have to hear how Russell Wilson and his team are the greatest thing since sliced bread.Really really hate that team.
Everything went right for Seahags in the SB and Denvers Oline and Dlines played like crap.

HA! I don't think people realize that the Hawks and the city of Seattle are going to have a huge, HUGE stone-over this morning and probably this week ;-)

Seriously though, I fully expect Wilson to have a delayed sophomore slump next season. They'll still be competitive and may make the PO's but I don't expect them to repeat.

Seattle winning in such crushing fashion doesn't help us in the least. That team yesterday didn't even resemble the team we beat in Seattle. They took it to another level. Some people want to pretend that Denver made them look that good but the reality is that Seattle IS that good. And now they're SB champs with the youngest team in the league and a ton more swagger.

Now, even FA's who had no intention of playing in Seattle want to get theirs. It's a pipe dream to think this somehow provided some moral victory in our missing the playoffs. Thinking we beat the champs isn't even true frankly--they weren't the champs when we beat them. And they've elevated their game. And they're young-and not going anywhere.

Maybe so, but Donkeys D isn't anywhere close to the physical style the Cards have played the last 2 years IMO, though the Miller injury at OLB was HUGE!

The Hawks are damn good & they deserve our respect as much as we hate them.

For the next 2-3 years not much is gonna change talent wise to make the Hawks or Niners fall off a cliff...winning the West for the Cards is gonna be tough & this team at some point is gonna have to roll the dice & get a young stud at QB. BAs job down the road is gonna rest with picking that QB & how well he fits...time for a title folks

Their D was just awful. And you're right about our D being able to match up. I wasn't trying to imply we can't beat them. I'm a homer and think we can win every game. I just don't buy into saying we beat them once so it somehow translates to something else. I do however totally believe Seattle improved (or perhaps just became more focused) after we played them. They are a really good, tough team.

That's what a loss does for great teams. It allows them to refocus. As nice as it was to see the Cards win, that was the worst thing that could happen for the rest of the NFL. Especially SF.

And for those who don't think the Cards can't win the division or not make the PO's next year. Remember, the Cards are playing a 3rd place schedule whereas SEA plays a first place schedule. A lot can happen, but things could set up very nicely next year for the Cards.

I agree with everything you just said.

The Cardinals have the bigger matchup problem with SF it seems, but are every bit as talented in their own way as the other two teams. The NFC West is by FAR the deepest toughest division in football, my how times change.
