I truly and honestly don't care if the Suns win this series. I am so abosolutely proud of this team and it's refusal to give up regardless of what people say about them.

Steve & Shawn, you will always be all stars in my mind. Bell and T. Thomas, people may say that you aren't worth the money but you've proved more than ever that you're worth every ounce of our support. LB and Diaw, people have no idea who you are but you're on an amazing pace to become the star nucleus of your own team.

I watched every minute of the '01 Diamondbacks world championship series. I can honestly tell you that I've never been more proud of a team than I am of this Phoenix Suns team. It doesn't matter what is thrown at them, they respond. They could lose the next four straight to Dallas and I wouldn't care one iota.

I've never seen a team with more heart. They are humble and self deprecating to a fault. You are what I hope the American athelete aspires to be. I love my Phoenix Suns.

If Sarver is smart, when the season is over, he'll buy an ad in the paper thanking the city and the team and put that quote somewhere on it. it's true, btw.

Amen...Could not agree more...I would be a little upset if they lost this series just because I think with all things being equal would should destroy the Mavs. But they are not equal...Nash is tired and hurting, Marion is nursing that ankle, and who knows when Bell will be back.

Hopefully we can fight through this like we have fought threw everything else.

We know we can win without Bell. I will miss him to death but we can DO IT!

I care... I just think the clocks ticking on this teams chances to win a title. When you get this close, it matters.

I agree, and have really enjoyed the maturation taking place with Diaw and Barbs. These guys are learning to deal with playoff pressure, which will be huge in the future. THey are also learning to trust each other and cover for each other. Game saving and game winning shots/performances have been delivered by almost everyone in the top 7. After Raja's injury, this team may be too depleted to expect any more this year. But next year, with Amare and KT, it could be one of the most exciting times ever for suns fans. Imagine, a balanced team with inside-out capability, depth, incredible heart, and of course, the best point guard in the NBA since Magic Johnson running the D'Antoni offense!

Absolutely. This isn't PlayStation where you just click ahead to the next season and reap the benefits of maturity. The Suns have made the WCF in consecutive seasons one other time in their entire history. Chances like this need to be pursued with everything you have.

I understand what your saying though.

Lastnight during the game. I wasnt really upset at all when they started losing. I was just extremely excited when Nash started hitting threes!! I think we proved that the Suns are the team to beat when healthy. No AMARE!!!!! WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS!?!?! Till next year. We will challenge the Bulls record!

Good post! That's what I have been saying to everyone around me for the last month or so. I love the Suns regardless of the outcome of this post season. And I love not only as a team but also the character shown by indivisual players. The Suns deserves a movie made them for their 05/06 season.

Losing Bell is probably too much to overcome...I'm prepared for the worst.

It might be merciful to lose to the Mavs, rather than watch our underpowered team against the Heat with the championship on the line. If Bell did not guard Wade, then who? Wade would score 35ppg, at least, against Barbs, House, Nash. Only a healthy Bell could prevent Wade from just dominating the suns undermanned defense. Bells presence makes the suns into a better running team as well.

Agreed, once Amare went down I thought the Suns would make it to, and lose in the WCF to either Dallas or SA. So it seems my prediction is right. Now I was surprised like everyone else w/ KT, Bell and Diaw over the season, and thought the Suns might be able to make it to the Finals, but not w/ all the injuries.

This team has done an AMAZING job, take away any teams 2 best defenders and its best scorer and see how they do, I doubt they have as much success as this Suns team. I'm proud of this team either way and hope that the Suns can somehow keep all these guys together next year so they can go 73-9 and win it all :p

No, Mavs fans are horrible and I'd hate to hear **** from them until next year. If we can get past the Mavericks I am not worried at all about the Heat. Raja should be back in Game 6 of this series and in the Finals Shaq can not run. He won't be much of a factor in the series like in the 2 games that we beat the Heat in this season. With the Heat winning the ECF the West has already won the championship.

Defintally its been one hell of a year now if we had Amare and Kt and all of our guys healthy I wouldve expected to be in the finals this year and we still might get their. But win or lose its been a great playoff run i'm proud of the Suns they played with heart this season :)
