First, Rosen exceeded my expectations. I thought he’d be good. He was outstanding. He made some passes I haven’t seen from a Cardinal QB since Warner. He is the QB of now. The future is here.
Second, I’m okay with the loss. Seattle is a mediocre team. The Cards, even with a solid QB, are not a playoff team. It’s much better to have the superior draft pick.
Third, are there no special teams coaches left? How can Dawson still be kicking in the NFL? Another nail in Keim’s exit craft.
Fourth, they’ve finally figured out how to use DJ. Best Cards’ screen pass I’ve seen in 10 years.
Fifth, they have no other RBs.
Sixth, Kirk is progressing nicely despite drop. JJ is going in the other direction and should be cut.
Seventh, where was Gresham in the passing game?
Eighth, trade one of the other QBs if you can get anything for them. Only injury sidelines Rosen now
Ninth, play calling was better and would have won the game with better personnel
Tenth, they’ll find someone to beat, but I still think 3 wins is tops.

Play calling was a joke the entire second half until they let Rosen air it out. If they would have let him do so the whole game they would have won.

Rosen was excellent. But nobody has any tape on him. He still has some hill to climb...expect a few lumps

Honestly this game is a microcosm of the best case scenario for the season. Rosen looks great while the bulk of supporting roster (GM) and coaching look abysmal.

Allows us to clean house after the season at which point we go to the GM and coach market with Rosen, DJ, PP, top 5 pick, etc. That's an attractive gig.

Wilks has to go though. He's totally clueless.

I still think our talent is pretty good, especially the defence. Receivers need work and Oline can look great one moment and crappy the next, I think they can improve though.... The coaching staff sucks though. Kleim I think is good at certain parts of the job and crappy at others, I wish we could demote him but still get some of his good points..

Only thing I have a problem with this is....if we had a HS coaching staff with minimal coaching skills . We would be 2-2 . And our schedule gets easier last 9 games. 0-4 and you will lose the average fan. The stadium won't be as filled . The demeanor of some players will be less than desirable and we have a rookie QB. 2-2 AND WE looked respectable. 0-4 . We are the only team without a win.

I had to chuckle a bit watching the game at a bar. Just got up when they made the FG and I knew he would and left, had already paid the tab... How old is Janikowski anyhow? Seems like he's been playing forever....

I agree with this. I really think that if things were managed well before the season we would have had a chance to be very good, at 0-4 with this coaching staff the players may just fold..

I agree. he’s an Arians protege. He doesn’t have to use all of Arians playbook, but at least some of it could help offset the conservative play calling taking over late in games.

Our play calling really was poor on first down . Play action on first down would have lead to a win.
