Be just our luck when there isnt any player that is a lock down superstar ala Duncan/LBJ/Shaq..

Having #2 or #3 might not be so bad. Does seem like it would be just our luck to land #1 this year, though.

Also, I don't peronally believe in conspiracy theories, "luck", or "its their time to win".. every event is its own entity..

So.. The suns getting a top 3 pick is GREAT.. and does not make them from have a worst chance of winning again at some point in the near future, lets be honest we may be picking here for a while...

That said if the Suns win tonight it will be good karma for Rick ;)

I will take a top 3 pick. Every good player can help and we desperatly need more good players right now.

They should have sent a feel good story to the lottery like the widow Abe Pollin last year and Gilberts 14yr old son this year.
Coincidence?

I wonder if the Wolves GM Kahn will be fined heavily for saying the lottery was rigged like this.

Remember when Gilbert took out his full-page ad boasting that the Cavaliers would win a title before James's Heat? Wouldn't it be hilarious if that turned out to be true? This could be a small step in that direction.

Kahn said it with a sort of sarcastic smile. There will be no fine. It was a wry joke.
