This continual silence regarding signings is driving me crazy. I keep checking this board expecting a newsflash but not even a rumor of a signing is floating around today.

I won't be real thrilled with that either. Or with One for that matter.

It's been long enough. The draft was three months ago, other teams aren't waiting, and we sure as hell shouldn't be taking any chances.

Wendell Freaking Bryant. His dog and pony show all season is just sickening. We might as well have signed a synchronized swimmer, two produce managers and a lion tamer.

I agree!

Although I must admit that as along as we have Pace and Boldin sign in time for camp that would please me plenty! I dont see Johnson as a priority JMHO!

Based on recent years I'm hoping it's going to be another flurry signing. Like last year with Jones and Starks, or this year with FA's.

Otherwise yes I agree if we screw up with these guys now I'm going to be awfully mad at Graves and co.

I am not sure I agree 100%. If I have to choose 2 of the 3 then I would choose Boldin and Pace probably but Johnson is very important to this team. He needs all the work he can get since the cards have high expectations for Johnson than Boldin based purely on draft position.

In the end, the only way to hang your hat on a new way of business happening at Cards Headquarters is to sign everybody on time.

Im not saying I disagree I also think Johnson would make a huge impact on this team if he is in on time. But if I had to choose on the hold-out it would be him!

I have this nasty feeling that voidable year given to the second rounder right near Boldin is going to spell doom to having him in on time. I know thta is pessimistic but I still doubt the Cards will buckle to a second rounder looking for bells and whistles.

What is next? 7th rounders looking for voidables?

Im sure its only a matter of time. But they dont have to long because after this next collective bargaining agreement they said that the #1 thing on the owners agendas is rokkie salaries!

Is it possible that we'll buckle to the first rounders but not the second making Boldin the only holdout? Nothing would surprise me with this team.

Maybe Graves went on another vacation. After all, he's got four days left to sign the picks.

Cmon now. No need to start that again. I am sure he is trying to get things done. The big question is CAN he get them done on time. I have no doubt he is trying hard...trying and doing are 2 different things though.

I'm not trying to start anything. Just growing frustrated by the minute. I hope something happens soon.

Oddly enough, I am not frustrated yet. In fact I feel quite calm. Once camp actually starts and that first practice begins, if everyone isn't there, then the frustration will kick in. There is still time to get it done. I am pessimistic it will happen but there is still alot of time. All Rod has to do is prove me wrong!
