I hope Brandon Williams is worth it.

Sorry but if we think we're winning a SB with a very raw rookie CB I'm not buying it.

Brandon Williams will work in this league. I don't know if he develops into a star, but he can play in the NFL. His speed and length is NFL caliber.

Yep. We will be like, remember when we all thought Brandon Williams couldn't play after 2 preseason games.

Williams is going to be very good, dare I say great. He is an amazing athlete that looks better than most Cornerbacks, and he has only played the position for 1 1/2 years.

I see what the Cardinals see in him and why they are so high on him. But even the Cardinals had no intention of having him start right away. I feel good for the kid because he's such a hard worker and is so well grounded, but I feel bad for the kid because BA and the coaches have put too much responsibility and expectations on him early in his development.

Uh oh, PFF speaks...

"2016 third-round pick CB Brandon Williams was particularly impressive, as he gave up just one catch on four targets against for 13 yards and broke up two passes."

He was also beat deep on 1 of those breakups that was badly under thrown.

Guess what rookie defensive player in all the NFL this pre-season has the highest performance grade, per PFF?

Given our roster at safety, him making the practice squad is actually a great achievement.

We are so screwed. The only way we will win a game this year is if we trade for a bonafide stud cornerback to put across from Patrick Peterson. Someone like Darrelle Revis. We could trade Jared Veldheer and Chandler Jones for him.

:sarcasm:

lol, the woe is me we should've drafted Dak convos have already started.

You can jump on Wikipedia and scroll through every draft year and pick out all the pro bowlers we should've drafted.

Hey, don't you think half the league is saying the same about David Johnson right now? It all balances out

He is an interesting case. Unless I am mistaken he has been playing the $LB position, and we still do not know what is going on with Chris Clemons and his legal situation.

I have no problem having Williams out there. Whether he starts, or not, he's going to see a lot of playing time. At least it looks that way. I think he has a higher ceiling than Bethel and I like Bethel.
