I hope we sign or trade for a wide receiver this off season

Drafting 3 WRs is overkill. I can see possibly 2 but there are too many other needs to take 3. I think a TE will be selected also.

They’ll get a vet somewhere, but not Tate. He wants too much and will get most of it. They’ll likely take 2 in the draft.

What is the mold for an air raid wr? I'm guessing Kirk is a perfect fit for the slot. But for some reason I think the air raid is made the smaller speedster types. Am I correct in this assumption?

We have Fitz and Kirk. We"ll need at least three more receivers - including a big physical dude and a blazer. Throw in one more WR for depth and that gives you five.

I'll concede that WR5 (& if we keep 6 wideouts, WR6) could be UDFA's

Guys on the Cards podcast are theorizing the Cardinals carry 6 or 7 WRs and only 3 TEs this season. If that is anything close to accurate we have a lot of holes to fill...Fitzgerald, Kirk, Cooper

Have they been shopping him? I hadn't heard that. I thought he was their "Fitz" and practically untouchable.
It is out there that you can get him if you make the right offer. Similar to the Odell situation. However, no one is willing to give up what they are asking yet.

We will likely only add two WRs. We are locked into this group...

Fitz
Kirk
Cooper
and one of Chad Williams or Trent Sherfield

If we carry six WRs on the roster, that leaves only two open spots. One FA and one in the draft.

We will see on Tate. I think he will get 8 mil per season which would be worth it for the Cardinals. 3yrs for 24mil is my guess.

Well there goes Dorsett - re-signed with Pats for another year. Damn!!! That’s who I really wanted.

I think it would be worth taking a chance.. it takes awhile for rookies to develop most of the time. I think we need an overhaul, only ones who should be safe are Fitz and Kirk, maybe even give up on Cooper unless he will be a good duel threat for us... we need guys with reliable hands. I think we had the worst group in the league last year..and we had Fitz.

Geronimo Allison - Packers.

He got the lowest tender amount, 2m with no compensation if another team signs him and they don't match.

Anyone have insight into scheme fit?

I would throw him an offer.

Boom, we need WRs who are vets and know what it means to be a pro. We have Kirk and Fitz but the rest are underachievers or do not have enough experience to be reliable. We do not need world beaters... we need guys who are legit NFL receivers while the rookie we draft then has time to develop into a pro and Golden Tate is a great example

Fitz is already blocking Kirk from playing his true position in the slot and now y'all want to add a third slot guy to play out of position. lol

I wouldn’t count on Fitz being used exclusively in the slot. He’ll play some outside & even move TE in this offense.

Tate has played outside, not just a slot guy. With KK's offense 4 WR's will happen often so that's 2 slot guys on many downs. lol

Draft 2 guys in this draft, screw the high $$$ & older guys.

I still think Kirk can play outside better than many think, he made some big plays there last season because of his quickness, deceptive speed & route running
