Fitz is already blocking Kirk from playing his true position in the slot and now y'all want to add a third slot guy to play out of position. lol
This is a different type of offense. Kingsbury will scheme to get guys open which places a higher importance on guys who can run after the catch. Fitz is that guy. Kirk has developed into more of a dual threat WR than I thought he would so he now offers a vertical threat. We need to add more playmakers...Tate is onbe of those types of guys.

I think Fitz has simply become the nfl's highest paid wr coach in history. Way to milk the Cards, LF. He will be here playing/coaching his kid (s) pretty soon.

I stated some weeks ago that I think Chris Conley would be a good signing, and that he can potentially be a really good player if a change of scenery helps him.

Another intriguing option, at least according to me, could be Kevin White, previously with the Bears. White has been a major bust since being drafted 7th overall in 2015, but that is primarily because of injuries and getting back from them, and I mean, bringing him to camp can’t hurt. He certainly has the potential, and he won’t cost much.

White was a great draft prospect after coming out from West Virgina where his head coach was Dana Holgersen. Kliff Kingsbury is a direct protégé of Holgersen, and their offensive systems are alike. In fact, Holgersen and Kingsbury used to share an apartment. It really is mentor and pupil, so maybe Holgersen has told Kingsbury about Kevin White.

Sounds like we're signing Kevin White per Gambo/Burns show

He better be dang cheap. Dude has done nothing with his career.

Chad Williams has actually had a better career.

I wouldn't say that. Chad Williams has played a billion more snaps than White. When White is healthy, he's been pretty good, but that's rare.

Just wanted to mention that Randall Cobb is still out there. Which, by the way, obviously tells you something about what teams – for one reason or another – thinks of him. Remember, though, that Tom Clements and David Raih has a history with him, so maybe they can get him to be effective. Or they are the exact reason that the Cards won’t sign him, because they knows something?

Yes, there is some good options in the draft, but I just think they need several wide receivers, and I would prefer not to have to spend two or more draft picks on that position.

You mean the Randall Cobb that has had 5-6 severe concussions... That Randall Cobb???

As far as I know he has only had one concussion, so I am not sure we are thinking of the same guy.

My concern with the one I am thinking of would be if he is too similar to Christian Kirk, but on the other hand, I think those types will fit well in Kingsbury’s offense, and also, after what they fielded last year I certainly don’t think it would hurt to bring in several potential reinforcements.

NO looking at Jared Cook, need to beat them to the punch. He and Clay would be a nice tandem at TE.

No on Cobb. Injuries have zapped his explosiveness.

Maybe he is done, but unless they trade for someone they won’t get someone in free agency who can make a bigger impact if healthy. You don’t know if he can still play, I don’t know if he can still play and no one else on this board know if he can still play.

Obviously another option is to wait until the draft, but personally, every year I like to go into the draft without any needs. It never happens, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t aim for it.
