I don't think it sucks. I think the Cardinals are well over-due to change the uniforms and logo. But that's just me.

A uniform/logo change isn't pointless IMO. It can signify the overall change of the team on and off the field.

That is a good enough reason to me but it would also change the "same ol' Cards" perception. Years of losing is equated in the current uniforms. Much of it is in Arizona. I really like the uniforms as is but a change could be good. Just not too much. The bengals stuff is too much. Adding cardinal wings to the helmet AKA the eagles is too much. Keep the logo. Keep the colors. Redesign the pattern. And yes, get rid of the blue stripe.

This is true. If new unis come out, everyone will update to the new ones. Meaning more cash in the teams pocket for players or what have you.

I did hear somewhere that Michael Bidwill has stated that the Cardinals annually rank near the bottom of merchandise sales, and that it might be time to do something about it.

I'm telling you - the whole community of logo/uniforms fans is buzzing about it, and that might not be a BAD thing...

No, you're not the only one. The only uni change that would be acceptable to me would be to bring the bird back on the sleeves of the home whites. But I'm a traditionalist that way.

As long as the logo stays the same, and any new unis don't look butt ugly like the Seahags, Bengals, Bills, or Titans, and we don't switch to black like every other NFL team, I'll adjust and learn to like 'em.

This team needs a face lift badly. Not for the 25-30k we have in the stands but to the 30k will we need to fill that new stadium. Sometimes a new attude comes with radical change. I for one hope that it is major change coming. We can wear black, yes it's hot but this will be for only one season. half of our home games are not so bad and then there is the 8 road games. The unis will not make us win it is just part of a whole new push to respectability.

They're named after a color, not a bird. And that logo is like the third different one they've had. There's nothing sacred about it at all.

I can't picture Bill Bidwill approving a uniform resembling the Bungles or Seahags. I think the changes will be subtle, but an improvement.

PS - I never liked the look of the same logo being on the sleeve and the helmet. Stripes or nothing for me. Maybe the AZ flag can be incorporated into the helmet logo.
