CardLogic said:...with the backward facing cardinal the battle cry could be Monty Python's, "Run away, run away!" LOL!

Am I the only one who thinks a uniform chage would suck? The only good purpose a uniform change would serve is identifying the lame bandwagon fans that show up when the Cardinals start kicking ass next year...
I'll take my changes made in the performance of the product on the field not unsubstantial fluff like a logo change

That is a good enough reason to me but it would also change the "same ol' Cards" perception. Years of losing is equated in the current uniforms. Much of it is in Arizona. I really like the uniforms as is but a change could be good. Just not too much. The bengals stuff is too much. Adding cardinal wings to the helmet AKA the eagles is too much. Keep the logo. Keep the colors. Redesign the pattern. And yes, get rid of the blue stripe..
This is not your fathers Arizona/St.Louis/Chicago Cardinals, They are the ARIZONA Cardinals.

SECTION 11 said:Most of the "newbies" you whine about have probably been fans as long as you have. Put your money where your mouth is, you've been a fan since 1987? JUST LIKE MOST OF THE PHOENIX FANS??
You're a complete hypocrite loser.
.The Cardinals, founded in 1898 and a charter member of the National Football League, hold the distinction of being the oldest continuously run professional football franchise in the nation

Is that fair to say tango? I knew it wouldn't be complete without you insulting someone.
Tangodnzr said:My whole point was "generational" history etc. There are indeed some fans here that did follow the team before it came to Arizona, a few even that may go back to the chicago days. It will be nice once the team has been here longer than it has, but the whole point was....they will still be the Cardinals with a rich history with both ups and downs.
The 50 year old man who can say to his grandson, as he takes him to a game:'
"This is a great day,it takes me back to when I was young and my grandfather would take me to Card games....what a great memory!!!!.
Tangodnzr said:You are right except for the part about "this must make them automatically dumb".
That's your comment and certainly doesn't reflect my views.
SECTION 11 said:Again whatever point you might have had is lost in your typical BS.
SECTION 11 said:1) I agree with this, I just don't have to be a tool to make my point.
2) I know as much about their history as you do, so spare me the lesson.
Skkorpion said:I may off a year or two but haven't the Cards been in AZ almost as long as they were in St. Louis? It's time to truly finalize the AZ identity.

The Cards were in St. Louis from 1960-1987.Skkorpion said:I may off a year or two but haven't the Cards been in AZ almost as long as they were in St. Louis? It's time to truly finalize the AZ identity.

So where did I challenge your knowledge of history, or try to claim I knew any more about it than you? What an ego, to even think so much of my posts would even directly be concerned about YOU, personally???
amazing, simply amazing!!!
Adios!
