why all the hate for the Rams, 49ers, or whomever...

We are the Cardinals and we're 3-2 for a freakin' change. And that's a wonderful thing. No need to talk smack about teams that have historically kicked our butt. Let's accept this modicum of success with class. It can all fall apart next week.

I don't talk smack about those teams, or any teams, because it will come back to bite you. That said, I do hate the Rams because they disrespected us alot (fans and players) when they were experiencing better times.

Couldn't have said it any better. I truly only hate two teams in the NFL, the Panthers and the Patriots, heck even the Cowboys don't bother me anymore, they have excellent classy players with the exception of TO. I really like Romo, I think he is a true leader.

What?
If we're playing you I hate you. Sorry, no way around it.

I'm feeling a large dose of disgust building for panthers here...

God I hate that team.

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
"Hate" "Despise"

Okay. You go boy.

LOL 1991 called and wants "You go boy" back, I dont think you were there at SDS when after the 9ers game 2 SF players came over to the endzone and started taunting us fans saying things I can not even type on here without getting banned. You were not there when we lost to the Rams here with LD's false start that 4 Rams fans started screaming in my ear until I had to smack one of them in the mouth. (justandy was there btw) Those things stick with me. I hate their teams and hate their fans, that is the way our crew rolls at the games. Some teams dont bother me and some do. It might just be a game to some of you guys but to me it is so much more, to invest my money and emotions and time like I do into this game I for one will not let ANYONE come into my stadium and talk smack without getting it in return 10 Fold. If you guys want to sit down at the games and not say a word to the other teams fans as they disrespect your team and your city , go right ahead, But I for one will not, and my Cards boys who I associate with at the games Gee, O, BleedingRed, DiehardCardfan and KOC's Brother Koot do not stand for it as well. If you dont like something then thats fine, dont do it, just step off the soapbox and dont tell others they shoudn't

We lose games and we get all mad at each other on here, and then we win two in a row and we still find ways to get mad.

It's football guys. Some people absolutely despise other teams/players. Chad Johnson did his Lambeau leap and a fan dumped beer all over him. That was awesome, it's what fans do.

Some fans have a bit more "class" if you want to call it that, and respect the other teams, etc., and some just flat out hate them.

Who cares, we both love the Cards and we won this week!

BTW everyone I have never said I was a "Classy" fan...actually I have stated Im probably the complete opposite. But I do love my Cardinal Brothers.

You are so right, red desert. Let's just revel in the team's success and leave it at that.

What he said^

I guess if I was a Patriot or Colts fan I would feel like I run the football world.

But being a Cardinals fan, I think I have ate more "humble pie" than anyone on the planet...

I think the point of this is to take the high road. The classless acts of Rams fans, who were likely unaccustomed to success, aren't good cause to act classless. If what they did truly was classless and offensive, why would anyone want to replicate those acts now that the tables have turned?

"In your face!" is hard to resist I suppose but I'd much rather cheer for my team than to rub it in another guy's face. Feeling good because someone else feels bad seems wrong to me, but what do I know?

This kind of attitude bothers me. I find that a lot of fans in Arizona are far too concerned about "class." Fans will come into our stadium and heckle us, and most people sit on their hands quietly. Part of football is building rivalries, and just plain disliking the teams you compete against.

Now, don't get me wrong - when I'm in the stands, I may talk trash, but never bad enough to truly offend anyone around me. But sometimes, we're too nice.

Besides, I hate the 49ers, and have since I was a little kid, for a litany of reasons. The Rams and Seahawks aren't as bad, but I still dislike them a great deal. I think we've suffered at the hands of opposing fans long enough to get our turn when we're on top.

Teams I hate for very bad reasons:

- The Patriots, because of those ridiculous uniforms they had in the 70s that made me want to gouge my eyes out.

- Purdue and Joe Tiller ... for proliferating the dink-and-dunk spread offense that seems to have swept the Big 10 conference and is now making its way around the country, boring millions of people while making the games twice as long.

- All Canadian sports teams ... because they endorse the French language.

You never need a good reason to hate a sports team. You just need a reason.

Hey, I thought you were a rams fan? I thought when you first came to the board it was just because of K. Warner? Have you switched you alliance?

Agreed. When I went to the Dbacks game, it's like it was me and a few others cheering against the Cubs in the top of the 9th. The only time the crowd got into it was when a Cubs player was out, other than that I had to hear "Let's go Cubbies" stuck on a loop until the retards shut up.

When it comes to my home teams, I will always sacrifice my "class" to support them, I just wish there were more people like me and 100%cardsfan in AZ.

OK, maybe I don't hate them but I certainly do not like them. Why? because any of the other 31 teams have kept me in constant pain by defeating us. Yes, after further thought- I hate them and everyone else not in Cardinal red :)

UGH!

This is a dumb thread.

Getting on someone because he hates another football team ?

That is great if some people want to be classy. Good for you. But don't throw down your opinions and judgements about a "I am classier than thou" BS.

Enjoy the win, and stop looking for things to complain about, and stop telling others how they should enjoy the win, and how they should act afterwards.

After every win there is someone complaining about how they are the best fan ever and we should all act this way or that.

How stupid. It is a football game for pete's sake. Some of us like to get a little rowdy, and crazy.

Enough.

And BTW, I hate the Cowboys, and the Seahawks, with pure classless, 5th grader hate.
