He hit the man Badger was covering. iF the ball was in the air, it was a good call, but the replay didn't show where the ball was. PP clearly thought it was a bad call.

That's the key...if the ball was in the air, it is a good call. And you are right, they never synced up the replay to show whether it was.

Wrong! And that’s not what was called anyway they said he did not maintain possession which is total crap! And the replay clearly showed both feet hitting before his forearm! Terrible call no two ways about it!

I watched it over and over frame by frame. The ball was still moving after his first foot touch left the ground. The laces were spinning so its hard, but not impossible, to think he had possession at that point. The ball was clearly secured when the second foot was touching but that is one foot too few while having possession.

I will say that while I'm more certain than not that it was not a TD, it was still inconclusive and should not have been overturned. With the evidence available the play should have stood as called regardless of which way they had called it on the field.

The JB TD certainly looked like a TD but they really needed a closer view of the foot to make it totally conclusive which makes it so crazy that they overturned the AE TD because the JB TD was arguably more conclusive.

My take away is replay officials on that game should be fired.

It seems like every time they bring Fitz in motion and he sets just outside the TE, he's there to block and it's a run to that side. It usually goes nowhere. Why they run that play continously, I'll never know.

They run it continuously because that is Whizzenh... ooops, Arians 'system' and we KNOW the system works, so if it doesn't, it must just be those damn players aren't executing correctly.

The ball enters the picture just after PP21 makes contact. I think it's reasonable that when he made contact the call had left the QBs hand. It's a tough break, but certainly close enough to PI that it can't be called a "bad" call.

Nobody is mentioning the call of OPI on the 49ers TD that got called back. We got our calls too, but most people forget that.

I agree that the Ellington catch was inconclusive, therefore a TD. Maybe it was even conclusive. My question on that is how many replays were lined up in NY. It seems that could have an effect.

Reffing is a hard job. It's sad to me that everybody ******* and rarely gives these guys any credit. Fans see their team with rose colored glasses.

It is pretty amazing how many of the calls the refs actually get right.

Because that is one that they actually got right. You cannot initiate contact with another receivers defender in order to impede their progress. That is offensive PI and it was the correct call.
