Well--I read the comments today where Phil Jackson took cheap shots at Shaq, literally belittling Shaq' role on the Suns.

Man--PJ just really pisses me off. I hate the way this jerk does this--he does it to us as well.

Tonight--I am going to scream my lungs out for the Suns and Shaq.

Rub that jerk's nose into the Phoenix gym floor!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's the point.

Do you remember how much he used to needle Scottie when he was in Portland?

Phil loves the mind games.

If there's one thing I understand about Shaq, it's that he plays much, much better when he's motivated. I understand why Philip would needle him when he's coaching him, but when Shaq is the archrival, it makes significantly less sense. Oh, well - fine with me. :)

phil jackson is a great coach, but he's also an ass. any self-respecting player or coach that allows p-jax to get to him just isn't mentally strong. you ignore the mouthy punk, you don't play into his games. and that's all they are, just games.

as for dantoni, most of you know i'm not a fan of his, but his antics are not comparable to p-jax. whereas dantoni is rather smug and arrogant about his system and he routinely loses his cool on the sideline, he doesn't deliberately attempt to goad other coaches or players like p-jax does. he's not that childish or boorish. he may respond to jabs from others (like his comment about the suns waxing the lakers in the playoffs), but he doesn't tend to start the crap like p-jax does.

it basically boils down to this, p-jax is a good coach and punk. he's allowed to continue to be a punk b/c he's been blessed with jordan, pippen, shaq, and kobe throughout his career. if he didn't have trancscendant players he wouldn't have had nearly the success he's had and no one would pay any attention to him. he'd just be a punk. likely one without a job.

Just heard the Spurs and Kings are closing in on a deal for Artest.

http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/50983/20080220/spurs_closing_in_on_artest/

It wont stop............crazier and crazier !!!!

are you friggin' kidding me??? elson and barry for artest? f'ing ridiculous. i've never seen a year where teams are so willing to sell on the cheap. the kings would have given up bibby and artest for shelden williams, a couple of draft picks and cap space in a matter of a week? good lord.

Phil Jackson is the Robert Horry of coaches.
Well...not really but the point is clear.

Phil has not coached a championship team without either MJ or shaq. Think about it, all phil needs is the best players in the league to win. What he is really good at is milking max coaching money, 10 mil for saying crap like that is just amazing.

If you don't think is an exceptional coach, I don't know what to tell you.

That's old news. It now sounds like because of that, the Nuggets upped the ante are willing to include Kleiza. Now they're the frontrunners.

Then if thats the case look for Vin-sanity's name to crop up in trade talks to the Spurs. Expect anything before the deadline.

This is probably baloney

But I heard that even though the Spurs got KT, they are still in the hunt for Artest.
