I must say that Stanton more than pays for himself in the last two weeks! Credit to the O line and our great wr's and Mr. Ellington. I'm officially a believer.

A great day for big Red!

Arians must have just told him to let it fly, and once he quit hesitating on the deep Farve throws, it was over.

From that NFL playoff stat, the cards were one of the 25% that didn't make the playoffs when they started 3-0 a few years ago. :)

That's the kind of player Arians loves... and I'm with it. Stanton waited years for this.

Yes he has waited along time for this. I hope if he is starting after the bye, he continues to play well. How he played today, it looks like he will.

Still don't know how they started 4-0 that year with that O-line?!

Crazy. It was fun while it lasted. Really enjoyed that 4-0 run. Didn't like the 0-11 after that though.

Personally, I hope Stanton stays healthy the entire year and Palmers nerve stays asleep for awhile

Actually from what I've read today, BA keyed in on Logan Thomas needing to get reps during the break. Palmer may actually be out for a while.

Where did you read that?

Link?
No can find, I didn't bookmark it and read a lot today. Wasn't anything big, just that Logan was going to get reps, to me that sounds like Palmer might be "nervous" for awhile. I think it was the same piece where Arians mentioned Stanton's mouth piece.

Arians basically brought Stanton here to start, I think he believes in him which is why Stanton gets to chuck it deep.... like a starter not a back up. With back ups in there you try to protect the ball and play more conservative. Drew is respected as a starter though in Arians eyes, and it's obvious because of the trust displayed in the playcall.

Be nice to have Palmer, dang right but the team honestly believes in Stanton too and why the hell not so far... I'm down with Drew "String the wins" Stanton :)
