Yes, he is probably priced out of the market for us. Yes, some could say he burned a bridge with the Cardinals but that was Whis to an extent and I think I heard him say he would not mind coming back to Zona. And yes, he is older but my brother inlaw is a Dolphin fan and he said that Dansby was a good player for them. I think he can still bring it and I would like him back...ok, I said it and will forever shut my mouth about it LOL

I would love Dansby back he went on Buckley and MJ said he would love to come back back to the cardinals. I was really hoping we could get him but I don't think the cardinals have any interest considering he's over 30.

He was great last year 134 tackles and over 100 solo

I'd love to have him back also but players rarely return to the team they left in free agency.

Dansby is way too proud to face his declining value. It will be interesting to see where he ends up and the terms of the deal. His buddy ADub essentially got 3 one year deals. The economic landscape changed since Dansby leveraged the market as a FA when he was with us. The collective bargaining agreement's rookie cap has made this a young man's sport who can be found in the draft.

I would love him back. But would it be a reasonable contract?

I would be all for bringing Dansby. He is still a very good player. He would look great next to D-Wash. They would be top 3 inside tandem in the league. I think we could get him now in the 3-4 mil range.

He had 134 tackles last year (101 solo) and 9 passes defensed. started all 16 games and he has never had an injury history and he is only 31. Who wouldn't want him over Jasper Brinkley.

I wonder what he would do on the outside? I bet he would be a monster rushing the passer.

Washington and Dansby would be a really good nickel LB combo. I wouldn't pay him a ton of money, but I could see 3 mil per year.

For the record, don't think it will happen though.

This would be a way for the FO to prove they aren't just pocketing $$.

Guy can obviously still play at a pretty good level.

3.5M per.

In his 9-year career he has never been a great rusher. Back in 2006 he did have 8 sacks, but he is a guy that could get us about 4 or 5 sacks depending on how he is used. Last year was his best in tackles and passes defensed in his career so he is still playing at a high level. I would love to see him solidify our inside next to D-Wash and then all we would need is a pass rushing OLB to finish off the linebacker corps and that could be with our first pick, maybe Jarvis Jones or Dion Jordon.

Urlacher reportedly wanted $3 mil but might have to settle for $2 mill.

Who'd you rather pay the money for- Urlacher or Karlos?

I don't know. Sounds like a desparate woman wanting the guy who left him for aonther woman back.

Dansby left us for a skanky Dolphins team. If he wants back then he better prove he is sorry and sign for league minimum and agree to a pre-nup.

Dansby because of Urlacher's issues in coverage. We signed Brinkley so he can come in on obvious runs downs and Dansby can play the rest, also backup Washington if needed.

I am signing Dansby for his coverage skills rather than his run stopping ones.

But I miss my little Dansberry, he is the best thing that ever happened to me. We were both young and did not know what we wanted, he has changed :)
