If we do not draft a QB in the first round, who is the guy which you think might be there which you would want us to draft

I would draft Courtland Sutton out of SMU

Sutton, Vita Vea, Quenton Nelson, Josh Jackson.

Love me some Vita Vea too. I think if they really are serious about not taking a QB with the first pick, you take the best player there but do not count on a guy like Lauletta being there in the second... we would have to get back in the first to get him in my opinion

Come on man he’s not going in the first. Kids got a weak arm.
Give it a few more weeks. People will be clamoring that we trade up inside the top 5 to draft him.

My god I was joking last week when I said we were a few weeks away from people suggesting we should move back a few spots and draft Lauletta.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2018/profiles/kyle-lauletta?id=2559882

Lauletta was discussed some time back and Mitch talked about how the Patriots liked him and if they did, it was not out of the realm of possibilities that another franchise might as well. Keim himself said, which I think most GMs agree, if you think you found your franchise QB, you go get him and do not risk the value game of the draft. Fine to critique but that is not what the post was about, but if not quarterback... who would you draft

If they don't draft a qb at #15, I'd like to see the Cards go after the best rated CB on their board.

I’m supporting a move back from 15 collecting another pick or more. With the late first round pick take Lauletta. Don’t take a chance moving in the second. This is only if they have identified the development QB that fits their go forward plan.

Solid thoughts you have and the approach likely taken by Keim.

Good news is that if all QB's go before us, there will great value at 15. Moving back into the 20's would be ideal, but that is dependent on another team as well. If we stay at 15, the non QB's I will be hoping to fall to us are Vita Vea, Tremaine Edmunds or Denzel Ward. I'm assuming Nelson, Chubb, Barkely and Minkah have no chance.

The point of the post is to play the student and answer the question and not play professor... who would you draft

Vita, Ward, McGlinchey. We need to start drafting players who are ready to contribute and need Wilks to be open to playing them.

And I like Lauletta as a late round developmental quarterback.

Denzel Ward CB
Josh Jackson CB
Vita Vea DT
Leighton Vander Esch LB
Quenton Nelson G-i expect him to be picked before Cards pick

Any of the above if Cards don`t go QB in RD 1.Any of those guys would probably be day one starters

If we take a WR in round 1, I will lose my ****.
I don’t know why, but since we are so thin at that position it could go either way: wr, cb, ot, ILB or dL. If Jackson isn’t their, then just trade down. We need as many picks as we could get to fill our gaping holes.

If we trade back, I think he’ll be gone by the time we pick. If he’s Garappolo part 2, you draft him at the 15th.
What says he’s garappolo part 2, because he has a unique name? What even says garappolo is going to pan outside of his flash last season

dude... that is insane. Nobody in the NFL is going to draft Kyle Lauletta in the first round. we have two picks in the third, if they want Lauletta they should target him there.

I am way out there and having fun, the Kool Aid gang and the Dark Side are mere amateurs Oak. I am tripping the WTF light fantastic, till the Patriots move into the first and take Lauletta... while still ending up with more picks at the end of the day to avoid any scrutiny because they still have Brady lol
