Props to Conner today. He saved us, along with a ton of gutsy performance on defense. On a sad note, Grandma had a fall, so I won't be certain I can post a ton for a bit... but what a signature win. Really happy about the team, and our unexpected depth!
Don't you ever get tired of being wrong!? :p. Take care of Grams...and we'll be here to hold down the fort! :)

Sorry to hear about your grandma.

I think some of us expected this of Conner. This is literally about what he did with the Steelers when their offensive line didn't suck.

I wasn’t wrong, I was right! been right for a long time, I don’t want to run every down, I want to keep defenses honest, when we do we are unstoppable. We still play one dimensional, put too much pressure on oline, km, receivers, especially early in games. At times I think it’s diagnostic, and success passing opens up the run. But really open backfield, telling prideful NFL defenses, we are going too pass it down your throat, and there isn’t a darn thing you can do about it ( I call it billy jacking)

well we start slow and have to recover because of that.
hell I don’t care who starts, but Conner in the backfield changes defenses, chase not as much, but still some, quite a bit actually. If we gave km the same advantage we just gave colt, all heaven would break loose. Said the same about whiz and BA, who both had top rushing stats when We actually had success. Still both had lowest rushing attempts in the NFL, ran after we got ahead a lot.

remember the 09 packer playoff win, beanie started us out with a 3 score lead before it turned into the greatest pass game I’ve witnessed. Then 10 carries in the blow out loss to the saints. Same in the 08 Super Bowl run, edge lead us from purgatory through the playoffs, 10 stupid carries in the suoer bowl. We could have won easy, with fundamentally sound play calling.

same now, the run is the engine of offense, everything else operates off it. Dedicate needed time to clean up penalties. Make it a primary weapon, and our pass game will become even better, defense will be rested, oline don’t have to protect all out pass rush defense every stinking down. So I’m happy kliff has adapted to the NFL. Conner brings it to a championship level.

Pittsburgh, PA--Enemy territory!
Ditto. I keep waiting for that inopportune fumble that cost games in Pittsburgh--thankfully in vain. I keep waiting for that inopportune injury that lost him playing time in Pittsburgh--again, thankfully in vain. Along the way, I realized I stopped holding my breath against the negative and just began enjoying what he's bringing to the table.

Solar, all the best to your grams!

He did have a fumble, but luckily, we recovered. And no one escapes injuries forever. But, like you said, stop holding your breath waiting for it to happen. As long suffering Cardinal fans, it’s hard for us to do that. We’re preconditioned to think that way because of all the misery we’ve had to endure. As a Cardinal baseball fan, I generally wait for good things to happen. Why? Because they always have. With the football Cardinals, it’s generally the opposite. For now, let’s try to enjoy this.

I thought he was a great addition and am glad he is paying off.

Hope your grandma recovers well.
